For most of the jamming modules there seems to be a way to counter it, but not so for stasis webifiers.
U see this very often on battleships, they might have fitted a full rack of WCS but if he's webbed he's still as good as dead because there is no way he can counter it and can't allign fast enough to his warp out point.
I know you can fit afterburners and microwarpdrives but in most cases they screw your setup and even with the ab active u might be to slow. A good idea might be to make some sort of anti webber device. The divce shouldn't add to the ships speed but reduces a good percentage of the effect a webber causes. Idealy fitted on a low slot, so a pilot has to decide to fit either tanking modules, anti webber, wcs and whatnot.
Err don't flame ahead will you

Oh, you mean like the warp scrambler, and the warp core stabilizer?
Oh wait...

Well if u get webbed and ur already moveing , even a little, u actually warp faster, not slower. And from a standstill, is the exact same time as if u werent webbed at all. WTS clue

Afterburners and MWD are a perfectly good counter to webbers.
One increases your speed, one reduces it...no problem.
And as the other poster said, it has no effect on your warp speed and can in fact speed it up if you are webbed once already aligned and accelerating.

wrong
ur webbed it ur ship, u turn your mwd on, ur signature radius gets close to be a moon, but ur still quiet slow. so u dont have that much of a transversal, boom boom - dead.
Imo webbers are cool that way, cause with that limited range u dont have to waste a slot for soemthing u can easly avoid.
But what i dont get is Webbers are perfect anti wcs? Imo its like a webbed ship is in warp in no time, and if he has full rack of wcs he will just turn around and warp off, and when he is webbed its good for him, cause the speed he needs to warp 3/4 will be reached in no time. I show u how to lead your fleets check it here |

Yea, tbh mwd/ab is a perfectly good anti-webbing device. There are much more important things to be taking up the devs time imo.
