This time round, im putting up 3 Hacs as prizes!!!! Deimos, Cerberus and Zealot, Winners get to choose the HAC they want in order of place. At an acceptable price of 20 mill per ticket choose your ticket from numbers 1 to 49, once all 49 numbers have been chosen, the draw will take place on the nearest lottery night Wednesday/Saturday. The winner will be determined by the bonus ball drawn, second place will be determined by the Thunderball and third place will be decided by the total value of all the main lottery numbers added together, divided by 6, if the result lands on a decimal it will be rounded up or down to reach a ticket number.
Yes this account is only 2 months old, my main account is Jesabell Junes/Zarlak who have been here for years,
incase you think im a noob whose trying to rip you all off, the ships have been placed on escrow for viewing
pleasure, im proud to announce it is the most expensive escrow at 10 billion isk to insure nobody buys it, it is called [LOTTERY] 3 HACS! EVE FORUMS and it is at Jita M4 Caldari Navy Assembly Plant
Please post all ticket requests here and not ingame as this is an unused alt and will be used to keep hold of
everybodys isk until the draw for easier tracking of deposits, there is no limit of tickets per person, and the normal rule of 14 day returns applies, therefore if all the tickets have not been sold by the 16th July, all isks will be returned
to the pilots.

You might want to assign an abitrary round(up or down) to the final draw in case it lands on a decimal so people don't accuse you of being somewhat illegitamite.

i have done i said if it lands on a decimal it will be rounded up or down in the usual way, if its .4 and under it will be rounded down if it is .5 or over it will be rounded up

There's a problem with your way of determining the third number. What you're doing is taking the average of six numbers. This gives a much more favourable chance of resulting in a number near the middle of the range, with much less chance of numbers at the ends of range. Look up Gaussian distribution. In fact there's no way that tickets 1 or 49 can win third place. Try to find six numbers between 1 and 49 that give an average of 1.
You may want to rethink how you determine that prize. Maybe the first ball drawn from the main lottery, or something?

the third place is a booby prize not a main prize, therefore people arent playing just for that prize, so whoever gets it isnt playing just for it, the bonus balls from the draw thunderball and main lotto could easily be 1, also if i did the first ball from the lotto they are always put in order so itd be a low number guarenteed and then useless going for the high ones, therefore it doesnt matter how the third prize is drawn as its just a perk for third place, just a bit of added security that somebody else is going to win something aswell

Changed the way the third place prize is drawn to the last ball drawn before the bonusball and before they are put in order on the UK national lottery, come on guys plenty of tickets lets get them gone for wednesday!

Not to argue with you dude, but this is not selling stuff, it is gabmling for prizes. Selling would be me paying 100m and yuo giving me a deimos in exhance. Gambling is me paying you 15m for a chance to receive one of the HACs.

Let's have it your way.. You arent offering 3 cerberuses dude, but only one and a zealot and a deimos with it. Deimos is around 150, zealot i think may even be cheaper.
That leaves ~100m+ on both ships.
The total combined value of the 3 ships is less than or around 550m, yet the total value of the tickets you are selling is 735m.
I have no problem with people living on other's stupidity - i do it myself -, but if they try to tell me that they are in fact fair is something i rarely tolerate.

You think 15m to fly a HAC is underpriced?
Zealots are worth 170
If i did it for 10m a ticket i would make a loss, to break even id be putting tickets up for 12.2 mill each as the market price of the ships combined is 600 mill
15 mill is an acceptable price for a 1/16 chance of winning a HAC, if you lose, its 10 mins work NPCing or half an hours mining
For the last time before i ask a moderator to remove your unwanted posts, please stop posting unless you want a ticket
Machariel lottos sell at 15m per ticket for a ship worth 490, my ships are worth 600 in total at odds of 1/16 instead of 1/49

There are plenty of lotteries on this specific forum.
They are ALL set up to make money for the person organising the lottery. If it's something you have an issue with you have 2 choices:
1) Don't buy a ticket.
2) Start a discussion about the general policy of allowing lottery threads on this forum. But start that discussion in the correct forum, which I would guess would be the General Forum or the Market Discussions forum, NOT in some other guys thread.
I don't like lotteries, I won't buy tickets in them, but I don't come and mess up other people's threads when those threads are perfectly allowed within the rules of the forum in question. I honestly think a mod should come in and clean up your attempts to sabotage this thread.
