(HAC) a thing my cat spits up   ....
it is a very powerful cruiser in the hands of a good pilot with good skills. i use a caldari hac in all level 3 missions and about half of the level 4. but it is a waste of isk unless your pushing 20 million skill points...
talk is cheap the cost of action is enormus

Technically, of course, there is no such thing as a HAC.
The correct term to use is HAS - heavy assault ship.

but HAC sounds better imo, plus HAS always reminds me of Hardened Aircraft Shelter (sorry my dad was in the RAF)

Uhhh...Actually HAC is the correct term, since it is a CRUISER. a HAS would be a general term, HAC would be specfic. HAS could be one of the various classes: Assault frigates, Assault cruisers, Assault battlecruisers, etc.

An Assault Frigate, by definition, is NOT a heavy assault ship. It's just a regular assault ship. Only the cruiser class is *heavy* assault, so HAS quite clearly refers to cruiser class ships and those alone.
Of course, this might change in the long run. Besides, HAC is what's in use, and that's the only meaning of correct that matters a damn.

This again, CCP labelled it HAC then it's HAC or it might as well be HAIT, heavy assault interstellar traverser.
Correct is an active decision made on provisional grounds.
