But when honor is lost and a flat out lie is used to kill while hiding behind NBSI what is there left. Today my corp anchored a small POS in "UN-CLAIMED" space. Agreed we should have done more to contact the locals permission. Not long and a fleet of Sparta showed up to investigate. They asked rather rudely for us to take it down or loose it. We took it down immediately no questions asked. They agreed passage to the south yet as soon as the shield was down they attacked a defensless hauler and stole the POS. Sort of pathetic. At least pirates usually follow an honor bound promis. If your going to kill fine kill but do not offer the promis of safe passage. Aki

A small tower is no big shakes for even a small alliance to kill off, so granting safe passage then wacking the folks taking it down is kinda....meh. Things like this do have a tendency to come around though, so I wouldn't worry to much ________________________________________________ This thread does not exist

And it doesn't matter if they don't have sovereignty over that specific system, if it is in a region that they control any anchoring of a POS will and should be regarded as a hostile act.

Aki Alysandra	Posted - 2006.07.02 16:21:00 - [10] Amarthtel, it was a hanger array that we started to anchor before told to remove. We had to wait for it to anchor before we could unanchor. One minute before and it would have not been jettisoned. Bad timing. We offlined the weapons immediately and part of the convo was private. I have nothing to hide. I was wrong I take responsibility for my corp anchoring before we got permission but the issue is the lie. I should have just anchored the weapons onlined them and let them take it down the hard way would have saved us an occator. Aki

The other one was worthy of respect, this one makes you look like arses. I hope the other POV wins through. If you are going to shoot someone then do it already, don't be so spineless as to imply safe passage and then gank them.
