Hi ive always hated lap tops and have a powerful desk top pc. I have a boring job It's simply sitting in a empty building monitoring alarms and cctv.. It dosnt require much attention i simply need to be awake and check on things when a alarm is activated. Im considering getting a lap top and mining while at work.
Im looking to invest in a simple lap top that can multi box 2 eve accounts but fairly cheaply. Can any one point me in the right direction. |

can confirm that i managed mining on 3 accounts on my old rust bucket of a PC. |

Pretty much anything that has shader 3.0 support and the other minimum requirements will run eve fine. I had a laptop from 2002 with a single core turion 64 that ran multiple clients fine till CCP changed to shader 3.0 (the laptop had no support for it).
I use a dell 7520 and it runs several clients at full settings at 1920x1080 fine. I know dell "sucks" but I got it for about $700 after discounts with a payment plan. Nothing with a ssd, 8gb ram, an i7 and a dedicated graphics card came anywhere close to that price.
I've had it for over a year and I've had no problems. I do have to turn the resolution down in shooters, star citizen and such :( |
