Am i the only one getting these sublimal messages?

Believe it or not that is actually a problem with player bios. Certain bios will 'lose' a word when shrinking it to minimum size. The bio of Leilani Solaris is one of these. attempting to shrink the bio window to minimum width causes the word 'die' to disappear. This appears in a number of places such as the overview's selected item window when nothing is selected, the search string section of the people and places window after entered text is deleted, the locking icon flash, and even the background of the mouseovered skill in the skills window. relogging fixes this. An odd, albiet entertaining, bug  . So bug report it if you feel it's worth the dev's time (though it was rather interesting with the word 'die' in red text popping up all day in eve)

this is just a graphical bug and i know about it and how to reproduce it. it's nothing to worry about tbh

I believe Flyyn was referring to the fact that you took a screenshot under windows, instead of using the in-game functionality (hit print-screen when the EVE window has focus) and the eve-window is kinda cropped. So we get to see all your nice start-menu items, window title bars etc and less eve :)
It's being kinda picky as your point is made clearly, tho Flyyn has a point as well. I read it the same way as you at first, until I looked more closely at the pics.

Someone's bio had yellow smiley faces in it, you looked at the bio, then closed it but due to the graphical bug those yellow smiley faces end up on some random piece of the UI.

No object seleced is now a smiley face.
Locking is now a smiley face.
Skillbooks is now a smiley face.
Anything that can be mouse scrolled over highlightswith a smiley face.
IGB is now smiley faces!
