Well, since they can't use stargets, then they must use jumpdrives!

Yes it can jump so long as it has the skills to go as many light years as are required to bridge the gap between the systems.

Edited by: Laxi Ly on 03/07/2006 09:03:34 but do you need a other person to help you jump?
or is it just like this in 0.4 bang in 0.0 109 jumps away

The Jump-Range is limited by your skills, I'm no Dread Pilot but I guess its Jump Drive Operation and Jump Fuel Calibration that limit it.
As well, you are using Cyno-Fields to jump through, kinda artificial Worm-wholes, so yes you need someone in your target system to create a Cyno there, before that you are ganged with him and select "Jump to", and bam you're there.
Creating a field needs fuel, so does jumping to that gangmember.

Yes you need another person to create the cyno field for you, you also need to train up Jump Drive calibration so you can jump further, Carriers can jump further then Dreadnaughts but Dreads as far as i'm aware but they can still jump a significant range.
the distance in jumps can vary greatly depending on how many highway systems you bypass, but they're really only good for a region and a bit per jump or something like that.
