Pretty much what I dreamed about as a wee lad playing Elite and thinking 'man, this would be so amazing with actual people playing other ships'. I'm a 3week noob, barely scratched the surface, died more times than I can count and after being jumped by 2 pirates just now (I lost the fight but hey it was fun) I felt that adrenalin going again. The dark side beckons me, but I just don't know if I can actually pull the trigger on people who sc*****asteroids for a living. Weird huh. :) Every single day you learn something new, a smart playerbase (bar the usual exceptions of course ), great adventures, good and bad people, alliances. I just want to say a big thumbs up for CCP for creating this game. I only wish I'd tried it out sooner.

Yarek Balear	Posted - 2006.07.03 21:49:00 - [16] Welcome Sidonn - EVE is the dream that we all had when playing Elite on 8Mhz PCs back in the day :) I've been playing years and yes, there are times when things get frustrating, but the game keeps moving, changing and developing (even if some of the tards don't)... It's worth spending a good while having a mess about in the game and finding out what you wanna do... and yes - it's ok to shoot people too :)

Also remember they get kill rights on you, so they have 30 days to get back at you. Thats not true. When i was a miner for 6 months at the start of eve () I never had over 20m in my wallet. I died alot, living 2 jumps away from gonditsa when MAFIA where big there. Made friends with Dehok and Tiller tho --------------------------- I wanna be dev-jacked

EVE fits the bill so far. Played since January 2006 and the love and fun is just increasing every day :) Meet new people and get killed or kill, or just downright have a good/fun chat with em. Lost ships to pirates just weeks into the game, but the adrinaline rush made it worth it :) Hands shaking over the keyboard as you see you shield and armor drop down praying ur target runs out of cap SOON Seems like your enjoyment is like mine, and it will just get more fun from here on out
