My congratulations and respect go to the Ushra Khan. They have always been worthy and honourable enemies. I guess our little war may be getting a kickstart.

Impressive. How can so called defenders of the empire salute the building of such an atrocity on the fringes of imperial borders?!!
I, as a fellow citizen of the empire, fear that this facility will not be changing hands so soon, and there fore will be a threat to the peace of our people and our comercial routes.
You should all die and this outpost been taken.
I can only pray on God, so this nightmare can end as son as possible.

Edited by: Arderich on 13/07/2006 01:35:27 Minmatar are known throughout the universe for being lazy. Usually only the angry snarl of a slaver hound or *****ing your whip encourages this filthy beasts to work. Through countless aeons the Minmatar tribes lived as nomads. Roaming from place to place like a plague of locusts to reap what they have not sowed. And when there was nothing more left they started to kill each other over the last resources instead of starting to work for their food.
For this reasons I have thought the construction of this outpost must have been a fake until Sister Wheya confirmed the construction of this large trash-dump right at the doorstep of the Amarr Empire. There can be no doubt that we must find a way to destroy this pollution of space.

Complete and utter lies. We built cities, cultivated vast swathes of farmland, explored nearby space and mastered nano-technology. We not only managed to live in harmony with our environment but thrived. Unlike the Amarr we never ruined our planet forcing us out into space. Also unlike the Amarr we are industrious enough and strong enough to build for ourselves. We are not forced to rely on slave labour to feed ourselves.
Your grasp of history is even more slender than your grasp of simple morality.

If the Amarr destroyed Athra, why is it still the capitol of the Empire? And why does it also house the Imperial City of Dam-Torsad? The Amarr went to space to "bring [Faith's] message to every planet of every star in the heavens." _______________________

From what I recall, Dam-Torsad is a decadent eye-sore of a city; morally corrupt and a blasphemy of both Sani Sabik and your own faith.

Impressive. Congratulations Ushra'Khan.
I have many former Matari slaves in temporary accomodation waiting for a place to call home. Would it be possible to get a place in your education program at UNITY Station for these lost souls and whom should I contact?
How could we turn them away? Bring these poor unfortunates but be sure to announce your coming and purpose once you approach our border, it would be a tragedy if your ship were targetted by a patrol on its way to UNITY station.
These people deserve freedom nd a new chance, but your organisation and ours does not have a happy history.

You sir have just demonstrated the finest quality of an Amarrian. Beligerence and ignorance of the facts.
We are known for being lazy? I suppose rising up against our Amarrain captors and staging a long and bloodey war against your kind speaks volumes of how lazy we are. Building a secret army and fleet to fight your people is a lot more lazy than sitting on our asses in your churches reading the same mouldy book over and over again in the hopes that one day your kind would give us freedom. Oh I was being sarcastic... as if you could not tell.
As for being nomadic and wandering over our planet in packs... well the Vherokior are the only tribe I know of all the Minmatar that live in such a way and the last Vherokior camp on my home island hardly 'sucked up all the resources' and killed everyone when they were done. They turned an honest trade and provided essential spiritual consultation.
And on the subject of my clan, we have lived on that one island for thousands of years and before transportation became more wide spread allowing for better trade, we were self sufficient as an island for all of that time. And we most deffinately sowed what we reaped. Who else planed the fields of wheat before us? Who else built the clan hall the head families live in? Who else raised grazing herds?
You sir are the product of Amarrian propoganda if you actually believe what you have said here. I would not be surprised if most Amarrain children are raised with the image that Matar was a barren and bloodsloaked wasteland with Minmatars living in caves clubbing eachother over the head the day your golden ships landed and rounded us all up for 'enlightenment' in your slave camps. And not a word of the truth is breathed that by the time you showed up we had already begun exploring the space around our system through the star gate network and settled new planets.
I guess it would have been harder to convince people we were 'primitive' and 'savage' if they were told we had advanced along similar lines to your empire, even if we were many centuries behind. So by all means, believe your fairy tales and propoganda. ------

A hardy Congratz to the Ushra'Khan for such an achievment. I am sure there are more then a couple CEOs who have there panties in a bunch over your commissioning. Providence is quite a trip for me, but if it comes down where UNITY is threatened and you could use another pilot, I would be honoured to help hold the line.

I beleive you must have an occular filter which is malfunctioning because Dam-Torsad, as evidenced in the aforementioned picture, looks nothing like a scrapmetal city. _______________________

Attack on Unity Station thwarted
The Unity station system was invaded last night by over 40 CVA ships and an additional fleet of 10 First Praetorian Guard. The hostile fleet included 3 Carriers and a large number of battleships no doubt prepared to lay siege to the U'K structures.
Thankfully the warriors of the Ushra'khan and our old friends The Wings of Maak responded quickly to the threat.
The CVA fleet left after limited engagement. I have no doubt they will return.
Well done Brothers and Sisters.

Explain to me why Matari are killing each other over tribel differances in the Republic.
Eplain to me why people with the born pale eyes are exiled from their tribe and why are people born with sharp K9 teeth are forbiddon to speak?

Please provide a link to the IGS or other evidence of such, not growing up in the Republic, I am interested to here it. But also please be so good as to display some legendary Gallente grace (sorry for the stereotyping) and allow this thread to discuss purely matters relating to the Unity station, which stands as a beacon of freedom. Lazy you say? Hmmmmmm, in the same way it's easier to say, "God said so" rather than come up with a good, solid, reasoned, logical argument justifying why you and your ilk are being a right royal shower of bastards?

Of course not, and your little terror attack on civilian shipping last night in those stealth bombers was really an illusion caused by solar flare activity.
I am pleased to say that the attack was thwarted and trade continued unhindered. Nice work Brothers and Sisters.

You have misheard. Matari who get those as their mark during the Voluval, not actually born with those physical attributes, face exile or restrictions on what they may do. The Voluval exposes our true self, it exposes weakness of character and of body as well as our destiny and potential. It is one of the trials on the way to adulthood Matari face and it is one of the many traditions that have kept us strong and healthy as a people in both body and spirit. Something the Amarr would do well to learn by our example.
Vo'Shun is a haven for those with an unfavorable mark and it can be rightly argued that the Matari culture there holds more social richness than all the tribes in the Republic.
I suggest you do some further reading if you are interested in the subject, it is obvious you have been misinformed.

Edited by: Ryas Nia on 01/08/2006 10:14:37 Edited by: Ryas Nia on 01/08/2006 10:13:17 I finally got around to visiting Unity, and I must say it left me breathless. Unity is a stunning achievement, a give beyond words to the Matari people and all who wish to be free. I was so taken when I saw the structure I was nearly brought to tears. No words of thank you or congratulations can ever compare to that first glimpse of true freedom.
To show others what I see, I took the liberty of recording some high resolution holo stills for all to enjoy.
