Hi everyone,
I was about to put a blueprint into my only copy slot on my POS, which has been restricted to the corporation only.
Unfortunetly, the slot is in use and not by my corporation. I petitioned it to find out who's using it.
Has anyone else had this problem before?

Someone most likely had an alt in your corporation and then that alt left after putting a job in?
Also, look in the Science and Industry window and it should tell you who installed the job. |

only corp members can use copy slots.
I imagine you or someone else put a job in and then cancelled it. That would tie the slot up.
To clear it you need to unanchor the lab and repackage it. |

To clear it you need to unanchor the lab and repackage it. Unanchoring cancel jobs. You don't need to repackage.
Anyone with Factory Manager can cancel jobs too, which is a lot easier. |

Canceled jobs don't free up slots, thus unanchoring. |

This. The lab needs to be unanchored in order to free up the copy slot. I say this is broken game mechanics.

no, it's purposeful in that you USED to immediately free up slots when cancelling ...
so, you could feasibly throw in something crappy for 30 days to "hold" your ME/PE/whatever slot, and then when you had something you really wanted to research (say that new Tornado BPO), queue it behind your running job, cancel the crap item job, and voil+á ... an instantly freed slot so you could get the jump on researching.
