If fighters have the ability to follow me into warp, why can't they be warp scrambled? It's damn annoying if you actually manage to take one down and just before it dies, the owner recalls it. Fighter drones shouldn't be so foolproof.
(If I somehow made a mistake scrambling the fighter drone last night, correct me, please.)

Well,
The first encounter we had with a carrier we warped to SS and the drones follewed us we scrambled them and killed of almost all the drones and i think the carrier pilot lost about 120 mil in drones.

You might have scrambled them, but it made no difference.

From what I recall, fighters do not have their own warp drive, rather relying on their target's warp tunnel to follow them. As a result, they do not have a warp core to disrupt.

So who's warp tunnel are they using when returning to the carrier?

Yes, they will stop following if the enemy docks or jumps. And they cannot enter a starbase forcefield.

This really needs to be fixed, its really annoying when you've got a fighter half dead and they all just teleport back to the mothership.

Well all i can tell is what we expierenced. We scrambled a couple and the pilot who was targetted warped to another SS and we kept a couple at our spot and 2 followed the targetted player, call me silly but that looks liked we got them scrambled and not able to follow the targetted player.
Cheers,

bieng abel to scramble fighters, and having em caught ina bubble would b nice,
IF
there would b an option for the carrier pilot to make em not follow into warp automaticly. - Purple Conquered The World, We the Universe.

What, do they have 8 lows full of tech 2 stabs? I mean, even a ship with stabs can be scrambled to the point it cant warp... eventually.

Since fighters don't warp (call on the warp funktions) but are rather teleported (with a short delay), then don't assume the worst about EWar immunity! No correlation between their un-scramblable state versus their EWar vulnerability New sig coming soonÖ By "soon" I do not necessarily mean "this year" |

Not quite as drastic, but well near enough. Cost should be reduced to frigate level instead of 2x cruiser level. New sig coming soonÖ By "soon" I do not necessarily mean "this year" |
