OK I`m done (for now)
Didn't beleive it would ever happen but I`m quiting EvE.
I have not many complains, EvE is a great game , good community , amazing graphics intese and thrill
But - there are some buts ...
Since I usually lack the time to play 10 HRS a day I didn't join any corp , since I didn't want to commit to something
I can't
So I played mostly missions and some mining ventures (with other players as well)
Didn't find any one honest and good corp to join ... (but hey it could be me asking for some sort of compensation for my hard work)
The PVE part of EvE sucks bad
Ok CCP I accept that on EvE M stand for Multiplayers , but common ? doing lvl2 missions same over and over and over ?
Haven't you guys heard of a function that does Random ? (with exclusion of the already played missions ?)
Can't you make more logical Player missions bound to a plot ?
How hard is it to make a 10 part missions that requires cooperation ? rewards well ? and will call you to summon a couple of friends?
Or try suicide and try it yourself ?
How difficult would it be to have puzzle like missions ?
Don't know , maybe other players have other ideas
So long , I`ll be back when the EvE bug bites again ...

Most of the things you are looking for are being added when Kali comes along. Thats at least my understanding...
Come back in a couple months (which you will do anyway) and you'll be in for a nice surprise I think

Missions and belt NPCing are a means to generate ISK to go out and play the game properly, whether it be shooting stuff, mining, operating a POS network or playing intergalactic RISK. Relying on missions as a primary source of entertainment is not the purpose of EVE (although some people are happy doing the same ones over and over again).
Check the Corp Recruitment forum, look for a huge corp in an alliance based in 0.0 and go play properly :)

It's not only multiplayer fun, but you get the most out of it when playing with other people. Hell, if NPCing is your thing attempt a 10/10 complex with 5 other people :)

He said he didn't join any corps. But yeah, it's something you should try. Most corps/alliances understand that you can't be on 10 hours a day, hell most ppl aren't on 10 hours a day.

Jump in a car and go for a drive. Theres thousands if not millions of other people driving around, but are you all working together for a common goal? Nope. Does that mean your not driving a car properly?
You can have fun doing single players, small group play, large corp play, alliance play. Dont let people fool you, there is NO 'proper way to play'.
Anyway dont leave, go and do something different from missions m8. Jump in a frig and go attack people just for fun in 0.0 space. You'll only die and your quitting anyhow.

Ive said it before and ill say it again: Eve is not a good pve game. If you play it vs the environment you will eventually get bored. Nothing wrong with the game itself. All games you play vs the environment gets boring after a while.
I play this game for the rush of pvp combat and i suggest everybody bored with pve to do the same.

We used one of the in-EVE variables a bit back to track the number of hours people played per day.
IIRC, only two people out of thousands had 10 hours a day or more. You don't need to play 10 hours a day, let alone 3, to be in a corp

Sometimes you have to work for other players to make them able to play with you. It's like you pay them to entertain you in your spare time.

Here's a fresh idea: Donate all your possession to EVE Radio and make them run a special lottery based on those items and ships and whatnot. That way a lot more people would benefit from your work than the random "I got your stuff \o/"-person.
And yea, in general PvE sucks with couple of exceptions.
