I'll start we were war decked by a high sec griefing corp that plays station games, the last time we engaged they had more neutral guardian reps than we had ships |

6 weeks old and the CEO of a 40 man corp all the same age (im burned out and only good for trolling now)
We were wardeced by a griefer corp who held up the deck for 5 weeks.
These players were between 3-7 years old.
They would camp a station for 5 hours kill a 3 week olds destroyer and spam local like they had killed a titan
Really nasty pieces of work.
When i refused to pay there 350 million isk ranson they told me that they would personally force me out of the game. BTW we did not have 350 million isk between the entire corp
I held fast and they eventually gave up after trying every trick in the book.
A year later they tried the same trick but i had spent a year training pvp skills. There CEOs Corpse its my prize possession.
It was the worst time in EVE and i did nearly quit. and i would happily name and shame them as they insisted that they were not griefers :) |

We got dec'd by a bunch of people who only came out of the station like 5 times over the week (not the first time this happened). One time they got a fleet up at the same time as us, and we blundered around trying to find each other for about half an hour. We finally met at a gate...one fleet on each side. Each fleet had scouts on the opposite side, and each fleet refused to jump through. This continued for half an hour, then they gave up and ran away.
Also the waiting. AND WAITING. Every war, all the time, waiting for the enemy (who in each case was the aggressor) to come out and give us the fight they presumably dec'd for. Let's...just assume there's some kind of signature here, 'k? ... ... OH WAIT. Jace Errata on Twitter |

The system where I reside seems to attract a lot of would-be grievers and so-called pirates. Fortunately, the long-time residents there are amply equipped to handle these infestations. (Up to and including an on-call merc force that loves the extra business.)
Unfortunately, during all this we have to suffer the purely lame smacktalk on local from these doomed (ignorance is short-time bliss) l337 speakers. When they at last meet their inevitable dooms, cheers are heard all around. Not for their demise, that was a foregone conclusion. For the liberation of local from buffoons!

having a war dec from someone who did not do their research properly, as in, they were a totally different time zone, and on the wrong side of the galaxy compared to the bulk of the corp.
lets put it this way, it was business as usual.

In Hek at Boudless Creation, a single enemy engaged me in a Proteus at point-blank range while I was in a Hurricane (Fail fit of course).
I would've lost horribly, but for some reason that I cannot fathom, every single denizen locked me and repped me, effectively giving me an active tank that god himself could not break.
I kicked his ass, and then he docked when I got him into structure -_- "Man, you aren't actually trying to do this, right? Nobody is that stupid right?"

I heard from a friend about this one guy in this other corp that came from this other alliance, where they had this worm hole that was robbed, the POSes blown up and they also had a bunch of ships that were blown up, so the core group was feeling pretty poor.
Then they got war declared on them, so they did the only ISK sensible thing and hid, playing station games. Their newbies, miners and industrials were killed whole slaughter and their members left.
Now the CEO is in Jita and he is the only one asking for ISK who isn't actually a scammer. Ideas and stuff EVE - the game of sand castles, either building them or kicking them down. |

We once had a war-dec from people who said they owned the start system and we had to pay ransom to actually use it's facility. This ended in a war where we just camped the exit gates of that particular system so they were forced to live in 'their' solarsystem without acces to any other services. They gave up very quickly.
2nd best thing that happened was a corp that decced us like 15min after we had been accepted in an alliance, so the minute the war was active it wasn't agains 50 man corp but against an 250 man alliance.

Horror stories? No not really. I'd got fairly jealous when I'd semi-afk camp a bunch of people in a station for 8 hours with absolutely no luck, then I'd leave work and somebody else gets two Hulk kills and pages of tears when I'm stuck in traffic.
The funniest wardec stories come from all the disgruntled and bored Eve University directors when they used to run around and pod anybody in their own corp who undocked during wardecs, then kicking the person out only if they dared to complain about it. |

In my first 2-3 months in eve I joined the axe gang corp. About a month or 2 later we got decced by a corp called Karnival of Death Squad (respectfully named). They weren't your typical todays griefers but we where pretty much outclassed in every way conceivable. Mostly ISK, Skill and ship wise. Naturally we got our asses handed to us but we tried.
Kills where made vs T2 ships with faction gear using T1 fitted T1 ships which made it all worth it. It was horror @ first, but turned into invalluable learning lessons. |

The hypocrisy is unbelievable. War dec'ers use neutrals to rep, haul, and scout their targets but think that a dec shield alliance is exploiting and needs to become a bannable offense ASAP because they haven't figured out an EZ-mode way of dealing with it. |

Last griefer corp I ran into was in my old corp. Neut claymore fleet boosting and neut rep these guys had it all. Sad part was that you could park a frig in front of a single member and he wouldn't engage unless he was sure he had T3 ships to back him up in the next systems or the neut reppers where on standy in system. I don't mind having a good fight but having to fight a T3 fleet that is neut repped and boosted is just sensless. In situations like those i just log of for a while and laugh at the fact that I'm doing something usefull and those retards are camping stations for hours.
Things like this make me wish i had the balls/time to move to nullsec, though i hate having to deal with all the political bullshit.

I once had to set Amarr to avoid for a trip from East Amarr to Khanid. It added 5 jumps to my trip. The horror.
But yeah neutral repping is broke. The loser in any fight consols himself with a moral victory. Thus is the beginning of slave-morality.

War decked some people, and had a spy in their corp. They brought out a 20 man fleet which was 2x the size of ours, and probialy could have beat us with their fire power, though half where fairly young pilots about a year old, but we decided to fight them anyway and see if would could use superior tactics, and intel from our spy to win.
Unfortunatly our first ship to jump into their fleet was a legion... our spy reported that in the enemy fleet coms at least 6 people all yelled "Legion?! wft is that?!" and they all warped off and docked....

being in a high sec corp which is more in war times then in peace times, I do not consider griefers as pvplers, I lost ships, who cares I am not a KM addict.
A griefer war is just boring, because they always fly safe and do not risk anything. Wardecs in combination with docking games and neutral RR are broken....thats why I spent less and less time in high sec.
The problem is I haven't figured out a way to make ISK in low yet....and before you cry its so easy....I am a casual player who can't be online everyday....but I am quite sure I will figure out something.
