module reprocessing penalty sucks!!!

sell666 Imperial Academy Amarr Empire 0	Posted - 2014.07.23 07:01:00 - [1] - Quote I wonder how it's possible that I did not pay attention that comes a new patch so important for me...I do not recall that any notice or warning popping up(may simply missed too fast lauching the game) ...even in EvE Mail.... I just reactivate account(about 20 days ago) and allocate 90% of wallet(70% from old game) in modules-reprocessing financial strategy (in the meantime making npc missions and salvaging items) and now I see that what I have is a piece of crap below the price of purchasing and I'm stuck with a mass of unprofitable units in dozens of stations ....a waste of time(real time) to fly after it It's just a shame to throw it into space when dozens of hours was spent on planning the cost-effectiveness(buying, reprocessing profitability etc.) of, and now it turns out that it's all not worth crap !!!!........ fail........... logged out... end game

Take a step back and look at it. So you made a mistake. Reprocessing of modules has a 50% nerf (more or less) Assuming you had a profit margin, that means you lost 45% or so of your money. And then we are not even tallking about the fact that mineral prices might climb with all these changes in a few weeks. And perhaps the market prices of those items will keep/go up to since costs to make them go up too? So perhaps it's possible to resell them? I think that making a mistake in Eve and walking away with 55% of the original money ain't too bad. Usually you loose it all Start looking for a place/person/skills to maximize your reprocessing to the last percentage. Start looking at the market. It's always bad to have a set back. But this one doesn't seem a reason to throw the game completely.
