I was the new guy in the back row who watched you take Curse apart brick by brick.
Don't feel bad, your not the first to run an organization into the ground.
Not that you were able to run it anyway.
Most of your conversations seemed to be a result of a delusion of adequacy and a lack of leadership.
Your followers were toadies and lackeys of marginal use to begin with anyway. -------------------------------------------- Rollback ECM! |

A call for censorship ... how original.
You brush off crude insults but seem to be at a loss when someone actually has the gall to logically break down what was wrong with FOE and Curse. -------------------------------------------- Rollback ECM! |

Stay on topic, we have better things to spend our time with than, deleting pages of drivel.
Do it again, and I will be bringing out the ban stick.
P.S. The nerfbat is nothing in comparison.

Stay on topic?
Ok
Where did the FOE corps go? From what I can tell they collapsed under their own weight, splintering into different groups going into different directions.
The reasons why are apparently unspeakable.
Go ahead. Ban me. I stayed on topic, just disagreed with the groupthink. -------------------------------------------- Rollback ECM! |

Why was FoE such fun. Well, it was the total anarchy. The freedom to do whatever we liked. The great bunch of pilots, and there were alot of them. We had many good commanders. The opponents, and their laughable politics (not meant as disrespect). The epic battles. I remember one night we had 3 of those huge battles in short succession. We prevailed due to our discipline. It's the people who make an alliance, and the diversity and competence of those involved made it fantastic. It also created frictions.
Why did FoE fold. Well, Quam and Corp1 held up the honour for FoE or quite some time, both good corps with very good pilots and great bunch of guys. My view is that in the end, the very freedom we enjoyed, eventually led to our downfall. There was no real direction set, no clear goals. Alot of us were losing ships in the wars in the end. It seemed that we were fighting half of the universe, and victory would not reap fame and fortune. (fame perhaps...) On top of this, the very diversity I spoke of earlyer, began to brew anomosity between members of the alliance. Who did or said what is not important. In the end, we were simply outgunned in a big way.
This alliance is in retrospect, one that I have the fondest memory of (CFS a very close second), in part because Celtic Industries wanting so much to prove their worth, worked so hard on keeping it togeather.
The CELTS split up into several corps, who to this day keep great relations. Celtic Industries Celtic Anarchy Team Americas Office Linebackers
Lastly, I want to thank all of you who were with us in this great alliance for the great time I had. I salute you.

Do it again OR ELSE, huh? Thought there isn't supposed to be any threatning going on in these forums. Surely, you are above the law, aren't you? Must feel good to have that EXTRA SPECIAL ABILITY to click a few different buttons than other people can, huh? You must feel all powerful.

I was never a member of FoE. But I was a newbie intie pilot in the Xetic-Foe war. I remember camping Jan with my malediction with t1 guns ready to throw down! FoE was always one of the best alliances I ever had to fight against. Very professional and when they ganked you, well you know you got ganked! And I must say Celtic Anarchy in particular always caused me special dread. I don't think FoE reforming would be bad thing necessarily. As long as they're not shooting at me that is!

The battles Jaeger refers to are some of my fondest memories in Eve, itĘs along time ago, but it I still remember it well:
First:
FoE vs. Xetic outside the DED station in Obe, 35 minutes of pure carnage, with MC flying in and out in their frigates picking off stragglers (I nearly became one of said stragglers ). The number of cans left outside the station was staggering.
Second:
We get orders to move into 0.0 to meet an Exodus Fleet seen moving towards P3EN, IIRC at this point ParMizaN took over fleet command - Another awesome battle follows, with FoE coming out on top, at one point a Xetic fleet is seen following us, leaving us in danger of being caught between the two.
Third:
After finishing off the Exodus fleet, we had the good fortune of enough time to setup properly on the Gate, Xetic jumps in along with MC. If the first Battle was total carnage this was a massacre, with FoE once again holding the field littered with cans and corpses
That sort of thing is why so many of us have fond memories of FoE...

Aftermath, lots of the cans had already been looted though :(
So many killmails
-edit- I went on holiday for a week or two, came back and LEGI0N had left FOE I missed all the bickering etc. Last time in FOE I remember was G bringing a fleet then logging off when we went up to engage, then logging back in when we went back to Obe. Hated tactics like that :( --------------------------- What can I put here without getting banned? |

OK so you say they "punked" out... and you using an alt is called what?
I have remained good friends with F-E ....How or why they chose to leave the alliance was up to them....I have seen a hell of a lot worse in my day.
The main point - was that EVERYONE at some point and time had fun! F-E and the rest of us in FoE Had a blast playing together and I continue to do so! SOME OF US remember it is a game!

After CA, i moved with the 7th Space Cavalry into FOE (at the time, i had no idea who this alliance was)
Got myself on TS as soon as i could, saw the dark queen's channel and knew the alliance was going somewhere big
7THSC left FOE shortly after the big split that occured. For a short time the cavalry assisted in the defence of the newly retaken Vale of the Silent, until we were outcamped.
I left 7THSC and joined up with the celts shortly after the creation of KOS. Been there ever since. See jaeger's post for more details..
The 7th Space Cavalry are to my knowledge still running under the direction of Martin Hartl, in a mainly industrial capacity. ___________________________

Edited by: JaegerX on 08/07/2006 23:01:17 What a crappy way to end a thread. A shameless alt. Can't let it hapopen.
I'm sure some FoE corps will hook up at some point in time to do whatever. Things tend to go round.
Round
Like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel, Never ending or beginning on an ever spinning reel, Like a snowball down a mountain or a carnival balloon Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon, Like a clock whose hands are sweeping past the minutes of its face, And the world is like an apple whirling silently in space, Like the circles that you find in the windmills of your mind. -- windmills of your mind, by Alan & Marilyn Bergman & Michel Legrand
