wow, I was looking to buy a Caldari BS, just notice that Raven cost like 100m and Scorp only 60m, (Oo). Compared ships with quick-fit, didn't see much difference, Scorpion is a good tank, and Raven is a good atker, so why is Raven so expensive compare to Scorpion?

The Raven is a Tier 2 BS. The Scorpion is a Tier 1 BS. The Scorpion is an EW boat, not a mass attack monster. They are hardly the same.

And the main reason is simply the mineral cost. Scorpions cost a lot less to make than Ravens.

Dont look at only slots... look at ship bonuses and you will understand its role better.
That being said, unusual setups can sometime be the win button.

Your definition of "not a lot of difference" scare me.

Raven is tier 2, Scorp is tier 1
Compare prices of Dominix (tier 1) vs Megathron (tier2) and you will see a similar disparity. Each ship has its unique strengths and weaknesses, but the costs of t1 ships are based mostly around the cost of the minerals required to construct them.
