I'm just curious. Because of generous gift from someone I was able to play with the create new corp button and spend 1.6 million on forming a new corp. I am pretty serious about it, and want to give it a shot (did I mention I am a total newb?), but just in case, I'd like to know how to put the corp. to rest if its a miserable failure.

BoB never had to worry about Stain (not that they did i'm sure) as long as Orc A was (still is?) in the alliance

Hire two chicks then get your wife to play and the corp will most likely last about a week until everyone is ****ed at eachother and leaves.

To be more constructive then the counter parts that have commented with unrelated information.
The correct method of closing your corporation will be remove all your members from the corporation, than right clicking on yourself in the corporation chat windows and selecting on resign as CEO.
You will be prompted with a message pretty much stating are you sure you want to close the corporation, click Yes and the corporation will be closed and you will be placed in a NPC Corporation.

Step 1. Give Foyle Hangar access
Step 2. Get on the open market and try to buy back all the corporate Minerals and assets that have mysteriously appeared there
Step 3. When you are broke and foyle is rich, watch members leave
