lol, someone finally got him!
i must admit, menod stole some cans from me when i first started. but after talking to him in local and learning from my mistakes, he did deposit the isk for the cans back into my account. that was a class act move and i learned a lot from it.
and everytime i'm in rens, i check the local chat and see what kind of trouble he's in!?!? lol, what a character and a rens 'icon' like it or not!

Menod Penter is the "Self proclaimed" mayor of Rens over in Min space. The local hangout is BTT, Brutor Tribe Treasurey.
Menod is also the resident Ore Thief who claims he is just fighting macro miners but takes from any can he can lay his hands on he also talks alot of smack in local, this of course made it that much more enjoyable blowing up his indy... twice in two days. 8)

Good day to all.
Sorry Abaddon but I steal from everyone.... noobs, vets, macros, they all get the same "special" treatment from me(nod) :)
I don't claim to be only fighting macro miners, please get the facts correct. There was a short period of time (almost a year ago) that I limited myself to macros only, and that was during the war of the locusts which is now over.

Yes, you were able to destroy two if my Iterons, it's not very hard to do. They are especially made for shooting at, they give pilots a target to shoot at when the theft flag is running. However, you fail to mention how you and your mate Elexee Nostros warped away right after you got the ship kill to hide in your station. I really wish you would have stuck around in the belt a while longer, I wanted to show you my other ship :)
Anyway, as Mayor of Rens I have a duty to perform, I hope you enjoyed your stay.

Ah, Mayor Menod. That has a nice ring to it m8. When did you acquire this new title? I'm back in EVE btw, if you remember who this is. I'd like to offer some more information to everyone on Menod that people would not know. He is a simple man just trying to do his job! Could you imagine if all those jet cans full of ore were left there in space to float around? Imagine, flying your shinny new (insert omfgubernewship here) out of a Rens station when all of a sudden your paint job and fittings are bombarded with jet cans?! OMG, the humanity! Menod is the 'trash man' if you will of Rens. And as such he has one of the most important roles there. It is easy to complain about him now when you don't have the trouble of cans bumping into your ship. But I bet you would cry if it weren't for the man keeping them all cleaned up. Something to ponder while you drink your morning (insert culturally accepted beverage of choice here).

Heha, yeah moving ore from my jetcan into your cargo is really hard too, that takes some ubah skills to drag that plagioclase.
Also, what sane person would stick around in a covetor and a mammoth waiting for a battleship to blow them up?
Anyways, was fun bursting your bubble for 2 days. Now you can get back to harrasing people, I'm working on other things now.

How dare you damage the great Mayor Menod? He was the first distributer of the Darwin Award, teaching newbie players that eve is not a completely friendly game unless you use your brains or accept the risks!
Zealot comments aside, menod has always been quite kind to people who are polite in turn, and if you don't like his theft, try a nice 0.4 system. I mean jeez, he returns mission-completion items like marines if he's snagging the junk cans you're leaving in space.

There are many times I'm already in warp when someone fires at me. I normally try to stop the warp and turn around to let nature take its course :) There are exceptions, like if I'm away from Rens I may only 'play' tag with the disgruntled pilot as I don't store any belongings outside my throne system.
If you want come on down to Rens, we usually have a blast. Bring your ship and your ISK cause I'm sure you'll find something to shoot at and something to buy:)

Ok...perhaps I missed that occasion. I can garuntee that there was a time that you we claiming in local that you were stealing to thwart macros yet insisted on continually taking my can, even after much local chat proving I was not a macro. Thats a distinct memory and the reason I remember you so well, and also the reason that I got a distinct satisfaction not letting you get away with it this time.... other than that, you seem pretty cool.

I'm based in Rens so I'm sure we'll cross paths again. Honestly though, your pretty much an okay guy Menod. You just get under my skin when you steal right in front of the person mining.
As for you running, we did have 5 ships after you so I would have run too.
