I need a willing pilot to fail a mission with Dagras Kutill. She is a lvl3 Sebiestor Cosmos agent in Barkrik. In order to help, you will need to have a 4.0 standing toward either the Sebiestor Tribe or the Minmitar race.
There is another agent located nearby (Rozor Mothrus) that requires an item from the series of missions that Kutill gives. The item is given at mission 2/3. I can help you complete 1/3 if it is necessary. Unfortunately, I completed the Kutill series before taking the Mothras series, so I can not complete Mothras' missions.
I am interested in the faction increase alone from the Mothras series. Your reward for retrieving Kutill's Data Chip is either one unit of memory augmentation - basic (+3 memory implant, slot 2), or 25mil isk.

You better find someone for this job. I failed the final mission for Rozor Mothrus and it got me a whooping -2.3 standing loss with Brutor Tribe.
However you can try and petition it (Agent Mission in Progress). They might reset the mission as long as you haven't quit and the mission is not expired. A corp mate got out of it that way.
On a second note.. kinda mean setting up 'traps' like this in COSMOS. How the hell could you know you'll need just that item for the other mission as well? And once you find out, it's too late.

the factional loss is a bit big make sure youre standing is already way up before u take the missions on

ouch thats quite a hit. guess i'll get a petition ready if nobody can help. How big is the hit from Dagras Kutill if you don't finish her mission? If it's the same then the Carnival is factional hell, beware.
c'mon pilots if the reward is insufficient, we can discuss. How about a Limited Expanded 'Archiver' Cargo I BPC (3 run - 20% cap bonus, -10% structure, -5 m/s). Oops well that one requires the Sleeper Tech skill to build unfortunately, but I have plenty of other stuff to trade.
Please help keep yet another petition out of the queue!

where i feel your pain. I still love this particular mission series. Best solution i found was just to ask a corp mate.
However . . . Why the pettition.
FYI i cant actually help u sorry. IF i ever find a different method then i'll post it.
It would be a wasted pettition as Its your Choice to accept the mission and refusing it doesnt loose anything. and also due to the pettition system you will not get reimbursed for something u DIDNT gain. especially standings Been there tried that :(

Wrong. COSMOS missions tick a bit different than your usual neighborhood agent job. Soon as you asked for a job (not accepted a job, just asked for one) you MUST do it or else..

I don't want to petition, that is why I am posting here for help. I enjoy the variety and in fact is why I'm doing Cosmos in the first place.
However, these Carnival agents are unlike any others I have run into so far. Maybe I'll leave a warning can for others.
Problem is I'm only just about able to run lvl4 Minmitar Cosmos, and the faction hit is going to set me back. To recover, I'll have to ***** lvl3 regular missions, since I can't repeat Cosmos. Just a matter of time, so I ask, are the lvl4 Cosmos missions worth the effort?

Mikal, are you saying if I start a convo with agent and tell him his mission sucks, I am not going to have to take a faction hit?

depends on what your doing them for .
Rewards, pretty awfull condidering the risks but theres a couple of +4 implants up for grabs and although hard to build BPC's the items are actually ok(ish)

i forget the name of the dude at that moon but hes an ebil git.
Theres a sweet L4 with 5x Republic deserter BS's to kill (IMO) the hardest NPC ive ever faced.
The Traun plex is a ************* <expletive> especialy as you can only get a cruiser max through
Standings gain, Certainly. U get a HUGE boost from COSMOS. if you fail its also very costly but thats the balance.
If you Concerned with standings NEVER go to sispurs estate if your Minnie although the agent WILL ask you to **bugged**
but i walked away with a firetail + a RF stabber (RF temp and the standings ive lost due to a "possible" bug is a seperate (now lost) pettition.
Worth it - YES !

The Cosmos missions are so full of holes it hurts
Save yourself the trouble and petition a GM to scrap off your journal, whichever one/series it is that's unfinishable ..

well, i'm doing them for fun, and yes they are fun. The Traun complex is great I love the cruiser limit. Been to Sispur's (no faction loss for me?), done the Mikados (in looking for Hacker ID tags - how frustrating are they???). Still no ship bpc but I'm only lvl3 so far...
While we're talking about building Cosmos gear, happen to know where the Sleeper Tech skill is looted? Angel Tech?
And I am very willing to make this worth your while, if you thinking about helping.

cant atm as im kinda busy :)
but warp to traun and take a left after the first gate
should ba a plex with 2 reasonable spawns and loads of acient data stuff, hac at them for a few hrs :)
8.6 - frig
9.2 - cruiser
9.9 - BS
its the 3 agents at the gate in their respective ships

right, I had heard that about the gate agents, and have been ignoring them until faction is up. Thanks for the hint!
Well, I guess I'll petition since spamming locals, forums, and mission channels isn't helping. Honestly, I wouldn't do it for me either haha.

Petition declined as expected.
This misison will expire for me today. If you have +4 to Minmitar/Sebiestor, I'm desperate to avoid faction loss. I can offer an Ocular Filter - Standard (+4 Perception) or a Tempest battleship. This job should take you less than an hour.
I have 6hrs left until mission expires (will expire at 2200 today).
