From memory I think it said in the last patch or two that level 3 agents would be giving out the odd rare item as a reward and so would level 2 although much less frequently.
Since that patch I have done about 20 level 2 missions and 70 level 3 missions and apart from 2 energised plating I have only received standard market items as a reward.
What is everyone elses experience, has anyoner received any pirate drop stuff as a reward? If so what and from whom?

For some reason I get medium projectile ammo from my Gallente agent as well as energised plating. I did complete a mission with python mines as a time bonus reward but did not receive them although I thought I was within the time limit set.
I can only presume that the factions affect only the implant drops as I would have expected (and preferred) hybrid ammo.

I got 2 of the membranes low slot 15% to all resistance.. not so bad if you ask me

Theyre fine if youre Amarr :-) Not so good for a Minmatar.
But from the little I have seen on the boards they seem to be about the only item you get as a reward that isn't available on the standard market. The rest of the stuff is ammo, mines, missiles and Miner 1s, which arent in the slightest bit rare.

I got a lif booster from an angel 1k pirate as i was going about on my agent mission. Does that count? 
Actually, to be more specific it dropped as it's loot on a kill mission. Also got a damage mod, but forgot which it was.

No rare drops but my sec rating is flying up 0.4 per mission

I don't remember the Dev or the post, but what I'd heard is that while they were introducing implants, they didn't have the agent loot tables finished as of last patch. So no, we're not supposed to be getting rare items yet.
