I have always problems to know who and where can
i shot on players. everyone tells my other and i hope a CCP can answer me and all the other who dont know this.
one time i heard u can attack a pk everywhere if his status is -2.0 or lower.
A otherone tells me he must have -5.0 or lower and bounty.
one told me no -5.1 without bounty.
Now pls CCP clear me up where and who. And in what system. And can i only destroy or can i pod
him too?
And one thing i heared too, that the sentrys in 0.4-0.1 only defend people who are in the same faction where the sentrys are in. True? i dont think so. Pls help me out. And pls NO suppositions here. I need solid anwers.
PS: a sticky of this post would be good for all

1) Doesn't your corp know?
2) you can kill anyone with a standing of
-5.0, anywhere without concord showing up. You will lose standing yourself if it happends in empire space. YOu'll lose more standing if you pod the person.
3) sentries fire when someone loses standing or they get hit by splash damage
4) why dont your corp members know, you all fly battleships and your clueless about the game.

I think CCP needs a guide for both security status and faction ratings. Too much seems to rely on guesswork and the GMs that I've talked to can't even give a difinitive answer to where you can go with a neg security status.

hrrmm... thank you Lianhaun. i for 1 appreciate the crumbs you throw out here
so when i scoped you out, it seemed like you mostly were -10s. this might have something to do with the fact that you can sit next to a gate and smite with impunity, yea? because you are already so low you don't take sec hit in the vicinity of the guns??
