In the livestream with one of the devs (appologies, forget which one), it was said that they would probably announce what's in the next expansion 1-2 weeks after the previous one is deployed. CCP if you are reading this heres a wish lis mining drone yield boosting mods. more expedition frigates a extra high slot for the prospect ( so it can fit a cloak, x2 mining lazors or gas harvisters + a probe launcher.)

If they are following the normal pattern of these things, there are probably bits of Crius that did not make the main patch because they were still broken as at patch day.

I know they are planning for every 6 weeks though, and wonderful if they actually pull it off but I am doubtful atm. the new programming style they are using meant that everything is done in autocontained pieces of code, if one or more such code piece/s is ready to be deployed when the code freeze period comes it will be launched, if not nothing will happen. main problem with this code style is that management tend to get too eager and -pretend- that somethig be released so if this thrend is not keept in check you'll get a lot of buggy, poor tought code released only because something flashy has to be released every 6 weeks.

The benefit of point releases every six weeks is it allows all the development teams to work independently of each other. This means one team could be working for 2 years on a single release while the other teams release fluff. Oh god.

The will be having a release window every 6 weeks, which isn't the same thing. Whatever is ready for release goes into the next release window. That doesn't always mean that there's going to be new shiney every 42 days.
