Not sure if this is one of the first of its kind but I intend to auction off a ~19m industry/trade/mining character.
Please read this entire post before replying.
100 tickets will be sold for this lottery at 50 million per ticket.
highlights:
This character is a great industry character with skills spread out over many areas and is strong in many types of mining ores. Has Exhumers 5, along with nearly all the necessary tanking skills to allow a faction tanked hulk to tank nearly all spawns in 0.0 and mine. Also flies transport ships and is ready to train the few skills for freighter. No noteable assets. No implants.

As mentioned, this auction will sell 100 ticktes for 50m each. When all tickets have been sold, the following days decimal numbers for the Dow Jones Industrial Average will determine the winner. A good site to check that out is CNN Money.
Rules:
To purchase a ticket post in this thread the numbers you wish to buy and send 50 million isk for every ticket to this character, Virsalura. I will try to keep the list of buyers updated but please check the thread before requesting a number to see if someone else already has requested. If you request a number someone already has requested I will automatically give you the next closest one and will notify you via in game mail.
When the lottery is over and a winner has been detrmined I will contact them in game and confirm that they have won. I will ask to whom to transfer the character to and confirm that the winner has an open character slot on that account. I will pay the transfer fee as CCP requires.

A: Yes, this is an alt, an alt of Recluse Viramor. An alt is being used to be able to efficiently track isk submitted

A: Well, EVE is a game of building trust. I'd like to believe that I, Recluse Viramor, is a very honorable player and that has shown through my dedication to my corp. First Everlasting Vendetta and then Chosen Path after a 5 corp merger. Insanity, Shyalud, Meafy and many others in Chosen Path can vouch for my honest intentions.
I will add more to the FAQ as the need arises.
If after 2 weeks all tickets are not sold, all isk will be refunded.

Normally lotteries are not covered by CCP in terms of fraud, but CHARACTER SELLING/AUCTIONING is. Since this lottery is for ownership of a character, I would imagine it is protected by CCP. If you try to scam someone, or if someone tries to scam you, CCP will ban the scammer and refund the isk or character or whatever.
Right?

after running a lottery myself, u will be lucky to sell half in 2 weeks, i would just leave it open until u sell 75% of them or all of them, ppl who will be buying tickets can afford to wait, and if they can't they shouldn't be buying
