Okay so I'm in a mild panic mode. Firstly I'm typing this on my phone so excuse any spelling errors. Secondly heres whats going on:
So I found some items on eve market that were inflated in price cheap to buy and had a really high resale price so I bought a lot of them used an alt to pop the ship so clear put my bounty.
Well now a GM has taken all the isk leaving me negative like 600mil amd and change.
Why an I being punished for intelligently using a market inflation to my advantage?
I'm not sure that what I did was wrong. I thought it was smart? I've already sent an email to ccp i was just curious what you more experienced players know and could maybe shead some light on this for me? |

I don't know what you're talking about when you say, "used an alt to pop the ship so clear put my bounty."
But, it sounds like you're suspected of Real Money Trading.

Actually, you've been hit by a GM who's using a ruling from something that happened in FW a while back, that has what you did being an exploit.
If you're using the items I think you are, it's not that they had a really high resale price. They had a really high estimated price, and all the other market values for them were really low, due to a change which came in with Crius.
Best you can do is appeal it. (They shouldn't have taken /all/ your money, just the money that you cleared out of the bounty with it.)

I dont even know how to go about rmt I'm not even that good of a player lol how was I supposed to know that wasn't okay? I never new about the ruling then again I could understand their argument but they had to leave me negative? They did take only bounty money but it left me negative I ment to clarify on that sorry they did only take my bounty money left me lile 600 mil negative sorry about the confusion so am I just screwed then? |

Just escalate the issue to some kind of 'GM MANAGER'... and try to deal with him no with the normal GM... If you explain properly and give them solid facts they MIGHT (Please notice I am not saying that they will... so don't create false hopes ok?) consider the punishment and re-evalute upseting a player that might not continue paying with real money the account (if that is your case) which in somehow is good for CCP ... just saying. |

take one for the team and quit. in the 'reasons for unsubscribing' box type 'falsely accused of RMT'. it won't help you in the slightest but maybe it will make CCP take more precaution in the future to not create such obvious and unnecessary exploitable mechanics.
