Unlike the storyline given to Stain, we won't be getting any Miner II bp for this. Just a storyline forced upon us by CCP with no clear reward. They've even changed the 'succession' story to place this storyline in. I smell desperation.

The Amarr are easy to write content for. Bad guys are always easy to do.

Well, it's not what I expected, but it will be fun, and you can be pretty sure that Stain will be there.
No reward? Well, sometimes honour is reward enough. You bet I want to be in the winning team, although I've never mounted a gun on a frigate(except for killing the tutorial drone).

T0rfifrans, regarding the rules about podding.
It's easy to figure out that big missiles will be fired. Big missiles usually blows up the pod too, not only the ship.
Please make it clear how you will treat this. Also, most players will have expensive implants installed. Will implants be replaced if a player is accidentially pod killed?

So... will we see something similar for other races in the near future? I'd like to get my hands on some unique and new items aswell. Perhaps a "Clash of the Caldari Mega-Corporations" event, for Caldari only?

I'm pretty sure they will, but this one seems to have been building up for a while, so I guess it gets precedence.

There is a fat storyline involving all the races. We had to slow it down a little due to the fact that features didn't make it into the game as fast as we expected ( surprise surprise ) but we feel confident with going through with it now.
In reply to the podding question the detail of splash damage hasn't been decided on by "The Imperial Succession Council", details will be revealed as the matches draw closer...

YES ... the matches will take place in another system .. but as stated previously .. the Combatants FIRST HAVE TO MAKE IT TO THE AMARR SYSTEM !!!
If they can't make it to the Amarr System (get blown up on their way) then they can't participate in the combat can they.
For all those wishing to Disrupt the Tournament and just cause CHAOS ... simply Blockade the Amarr System Jump-In points ... Blow up anyone that's on the Combatant list (ya take a little faction hit .. big deal, agents can fix that)
