WOW, big surprise right? I'm just posting this to make a record for anyone who finds themselves in the same bind and isn't dumb enough to not do a little reputation searching on forums does not pay this **** a single isk if someone happens to wardec your high sec pos 2 hours after you log to go out of town 1 day out of the year and come back 3 hours after it's possible to do anything about it. (talk about luck of timing) but hey, that's MY LUCK. and believe me, I'm used to it. He will kill your pos or anything up anyway.

not really, having the names in the body of the post finds them easy enough if someone is smart enough to know how to use the "search" feature. |

hey now since this is serious business we not only stalk our targets in game but we also stalk them in real life too so we know when to hit them when they can't do ****

I don't think we're talking about the same people.
Are you asserting that someone who is foolish or gullible enough to pay a ransom to someone is going to have the foresight to search the forums and do so in a very specific manner?

I saw 1 thing that's wrong with the title. It implies that honor exists in EVE. I haven't dealt with pirates a lot, but I have experienced enough griefing-attempts from them to know that honor doesn't have anything to do with EVE.
The best way to deal with this kind of griefers is, in my honest opinion, as wrong as it may be, to just let bygones be bygones. He kills a POS? It was a legitimate target. And he had intel through clever use of a spy, so he could know when you're not around to guard it. It's actually a fairly common strategy in modern warfare (not the COD Modern Warfare, the regular modern-day warfare), to use spies and intel to your own advantage. He just took advantage of your corp not being online to save the POS. The last thing you want to do is start crying about losing a POS because of a spy. He wants that. |

A ransom not honored, I am SHOCKED!! Really, a more newsworthy post would be "Ransom Honored" ... I don't think I've seen that happen yet in EVE, in any situation. |

I'm all about high sec wardecs but POS ransoming in high sec? That sounds boring as balls. I consider the war deccer the real loser here unless OP had huge amounts of materials stashed there.
