I was running a few missions and had to take out a couple of slaver ships. When I salvaged the ships and confiscated the cargo there was a group of slaves in the holds of all three ships destroyed. Transporting the slaves in Minmatar space is illegal so I had to leave them floating in a cargo container....
Can't there be a way to actually free them? Maybe have it be an option in the drop down menu when you right click them? Maybe have it give a very small increase to Minmatar standings and decrease to Amarr? It would also be cool if there was a running count on the player sheet somewhere.
Same could work both ways too. Amarrians that find Mercs, Janitors and the like could right click and turn them into slaves, to be sold on the market.
It would also provide content as the slaves could be freed then captured again and enslaved.
Thoughts?

I would have liked this when I ran missions. Expand the lore/RPG side a bit with a simple change, maybe gain a bit of sec standing for freeing them. This would mean not being able to turn people into slaves in Amarr space though otherwise it would lead to sec status farming. |

Well, there is always that....if it fits in line with your character concept.
I was thinking it could be used to generate RP. Not only with those that wish to portray their characters as freedom fighters, but also could be used as fuel for the Faction War fire.
I'd just like to see options besides the "Kill em all" or "Leave them floating in the cold void of space".

I approve of an option to free the slaves. I'm not so keen on enslaving New Eden's janitors though.

Because the Legacy Code has too much Psssssssssssssssh, nothing will ever get fixed until CCP stop wasting money on failed sparkle MMOs and instead rewrite the entire backend of EvE from scratch. |

I like it, instead of just having another loot item under the livestock category have the people you save mean something, even if it's just a simple stat or small standings boost with a neutral corp. |

Servant Sisters should buy freed slaves at a nominal fee. It would fit their identity and not be any real ISK faucet.
