Well, finally i finished it. It Shows my two main chars (feel free to wonder what kind of relationship is between them) docked in a station while theyr ship is fitted and repaired.
The station background was captured from the game , the other elements were handmade, scanned, vectorized in Freehand and colored and lightened in Photoshop. The weapons are invented (i dont like how look the weapon ingame). I assumed that some type of drones do the maintenance and fitting work in stations, and here they are. Missile launcher and warning markings added and some other changes in Tristan dessign (black long deposits with add a "gundamish" loock) Scale between chars weapons and ship is not real but i didnt care :). Hope you like it

Well, the way it is set up (as a wallpaper, not a piece of traditional wallpaper) it looks like the characters, the only artifacts of comparison, are super imposed in the foreground over a background shot of the ship. So scale might not be an issue at all.
But yes, I like it, very nicely done, it's good to see people playing eve that care enough to create things involving it for no personal gain.

Nice work mate.
Only critiques are,work on the anatomy a bit.Also the there needs to be more shadows.
With just some lighting and shadow touches i think you could really make it feel a lot better.
great mechanical stuff,and i like the over all painting style.

Just wanted you to have this...
If you notice, in the very bottom left hand corner, is the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. The Tristan it's self is around half as tall as the Eiffel Tower :)
None the less, great job! The fact that it's original is nice to see! :)

Awesome wallpaper. Its now my current one. 1680x1050 but its centered with white around it. Looks pretty dang good with a 'milk' uxtheme. Keep it up I can't wait to see your next one. :)
