Im looking for a decent pvp setup for a tristan and also would like to know weather i should use rockets or missles. There is probably a thread about this somewhere but the search doesnt seem to be working.

Rockets for lots of damage but close range. Missiles for slightly less damage but longer range.
(example is rockets = about 10km and missiles = about 20km.)

Ok then rockets would probably be a better choice i guess.

tbh, I've never heard of a Tristan being used in PvP, nor have I seen anyone trying. And I do shoot up a lot of stuff ;)

150 rails with Antimatter, and rocket launchers is a painful setup (for a frigate), though change the 150 rails for neutron blasters, add an mwd, and you have a heavy hitting tackler frig

Straight PVP I'm not 100% on, but when I was trying to pirate in a Tristan heres what I used.
Low: MAPC
400mm nano
Named Rep
Med: Named AB
Named 7.5k Scram
Named Web
Hi: 2x Arbalest Launchers
2x Modal Electrons, I think it was (easy to fit better blaster with engineering skills higher I'm sure)
