We're coming back! Except this time we're bigger, better and here to stay!
Space-Mail Express is a haulage and transport solutions company based in the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game, EVE Online.
Originally founded in August 2013 by the then CEO, 'Baby Blue Thunder' (since sold), reality stepped in the way and the service had to shut down after 2 very interesting and sucessful weeks. We had gained alot of ground in such a small period of time and made alot of friends along the way, it was a sad time but it had to be done.
But there is hope! The service is now being reconstructed by the original owner of Baby Blue, now under the name of 'Yom Nocsand'. Our goal was and continues to be, to offer the very highest quality, tailored transport solutions to corporations and individuals throughout New Eden without charging over inflated prices. We believe that every tiny little detail counts towards our customers experience whilst using our service, and so we do everything we can to not only maintain our trust and reliability factor, but to improve it!
Our expected opening day is the 16th July 2014, this will give me time to get everything online and optimized and gain interest from haulers and customers alike! Alot of the service is remaning the same, but there are a few changes and additions this time around, aswell as alot more confidence in my ability to stick at it for the long run.
So let's take a look at some of the changes planned.
What's staying the same:
Gÿ» Bulk transport of ore / minerals / produced goods / shipping etc.
Gÿ» Flexible rates catered to fit your package size and preferred delivery timeframe.
Gÿ» Collateral upto 1.5 billion ISK
Gÿ» Friendly, helpful staff, ready to assist.
Gÿ» High/Low sec haulage options.
Gÿ» Regular offers & discounts including festive savings and more.
Gÿ» Formal invoice(s) sent to all of our customers once your contract has been completed, letting you know when your package(s) has arrived at its destination.
Gÿ» Null sec jump freighter service planned for the future.
Gÿ» Weekly financial reports, I like being open about that stuff! :)
What's changing / being added?
Gÿ» Corporate partnership program. This was something that was in high demand the last time we ran the business, so it's something I want to sort out early this time. It's designed to make the costs more predictable for corporations that ship their goods through us regularly by giving you the option to pay a set price per month for unlimited courier contracts and a priority service over non-partners. There will be various levels of partnership to suit all corporations, big or small, ensuring that your corp benefits from the partnership regardless of your size, member activity or shipping quantity. The exact details are still being worked out, but rest assured that all partnership contracts will save your corporation ISK and time compared to non-partnership contracts. Stay tuned!
Gÿ» Improved website layout. The logo and basic design will remain unchanged, but based on feedback recieved from last year, the site can be tricky and confusing to navigate for new customers, and that's something i'd like to improve on!
Gÿ» Insurance! I can't promise this right away but it was definately something our pilots were interested in previously and it's a fair request. The ability to replace lost freighters would be a huge security blanket to our members and it is something we will implement this time around.
Gÿ» Production and delivery contracts. Yes that's right! This service definately won't be available when we launch, but we will eventually be offering a custom production and delivery service, which means you can place an order even if none of our pilots are actively available to speak with you. We will recieve the order, quote you the final price and ETA via mail, fullfil it, then ship it to your requested destination, all combined into one cheap price!

We had a good, reliable crew from all over the world before and i'm going to try and get hold of the active ones to see if they're interested in coming back (maybe you're reading this post? Let me know!). But we'll still be needing haulers of all abilities, details below:
We need:
Gÿ» Jump freighter pilots
Gÿ» Freighter pilots
Gÿ» Blockade runners
Gÿ» Tech 1 industrial pilots
Note:You do not need your hauler pilot to actually join Space-Mail Express as we do not haul on the pilots we have in-corp to reduce the chances of friendly-fire and continue our service during war-time. Instead, you will be asked to join with an alt of any sp, it can even be a 0 day old toon with no skillpoints, aslong as you can accept and send contracts it's all good. This gives you the flexibility to be in a seperate corp with your hauler pilot and enjoy their activities, whatever they may be, whilst enjoying the profits that Space-Mail can provide. Full details will be explained if you're interested in joining up.

So overall i'm really excited about the re-release and although i'm still apologetic about closing the service in the first place, I feel that the new, improved service will have been worth the wait! :)

Launch day has arrived and launced we did!
Not even halfway through our first day of trading and we've already smashed our previous record from our 2013 launch for total contracts completed on launch day!
The day isn't over so the official figures aren't in yet, but it's exciting and we hope it's only going to get better!
