Here I was, flying around Aridia, looking for my first kill. I've participated in PvP before but have practically 0 experience as a "pirate". Upon arriving in a 0.2 security system, I discovered an Iteron 3. Since I'm still learning how to use my scanner more efficiently, it took me a little while to locate it. As I did some research on the area (yup, I'm trying to be thorough), my bio says that I simply love the alliances inhabiting the region. Still, I'm in a noob corp. Anyway...
I warp in to the belt at 40km and aft to the hauler. Start attacking and get a convo:
Him > do you realize you are breaking the treaty with vc
Him > i am a vc member
Me > treaty? i'm not in a corp
Him > you need to remove that from your bio
It didn't take my Punisher long to take him down. I'm currently looking for a pirate corp and don't want to completely ruin my security status if I have to get my sorry butt to a completely different region I decided to spare his pod. Six (SIX!!! In an area supposedly controlled by the victim's alliance and 2 jumps from 0.5 systems!) minutes later cavalry arrives - two people jump in as I decide to safe-spot and do some research on the pilots and their vessels. In local:
Them > sure run coward
Them > you ran when somoene came in
Them > you need to remove that from your bio
Them > coward jumped
Me > warped
Them > you jumped why
Them > whatever punk
Them > now who is the coward cant fight only if it is an iteron
Me > so... how is your pod? comfy?
Them > just fine lets see yours
Them > not yellow like yours <--- 
Them > wuts your pooint of all this unexpected?
Them > he doesn't know, he's too stupid
Soon, the Iteron owner jumps out and comes back in a Celestis.
Them > ok now come and get me ass
Them > well your just a coward come fight me now
Them > chicken
Now, this sounds like an insult because how could he know whether I resemble poultry or not!!!
As he has kill rights against me, I know that gate sentries won't help me if he attacks me but hey - what's life without some risk (very little actually - Punisher and T1, non-named mods only). I warp to the gate and there they are - Celestis and Thorax, just waiting for me. Please remember - even though neither pilot seeems to be very experienced, Celestis owner knew I was flying a close-range frigate (was orbiting his Iteron earlier) and had more than enough time to refit properly.
Celestis engages. We both close in and start "dancing". Thorax just has me targetted. We get through each other's shields but I'm doing a better job with both NOS and small armor repper helping me stay alive. Then, suddenly, the Thorax closes in, releases drones and engages at close range. That hurts. A lot. I turn all mods on waiting for the gate guns to engage and down to ~15% cap and 50% armor within seconds. Thankfully, the star gate employees don't sleep and sentries respond to this lawless act! The Thorax gets reduced to rubble within seconds. Taking some time to enjoy this new experience I slowly finish the Celestis off...
The only thing left is to collect loot (surprisingly, quite nice - 16mil damage control, 10mil cargo expander, etc.) and safespot as reinforcements arrive (T2 HACs). A minute later a Buzzard jumps in and, since I don't enjoy swiching safe spots all the time waiting for PvP timer to run out, I decide to leave the system and dock in a station next door.
So, to sum up:
Me: One T1 frigate (Punisher)
Them: Two T1 cruisers (Thorax and Celestis) and T1 hauler (Iteron 3)
Yes, they weren't very... bright (especially the Thorax pilot with over 6 months of experience) but still - it felt good :)

@the Celestis Pilot: DUH!! Sensor dampners prevent frigs from locking outside of webber range... use em. Celestis can fit 3 medium and two small drones....munch frigs in web for lunch...and you have 2 missile/Rocket hardpoints too put the hurt on him, not even counting a pair of rail/blasters...sigh.
As for the 5 minute response time in alliance territory.. well I hate to say this, but deepspace alliances have greater numbers but much less organisation than they used to. They have taken on too much dead weight as proven by the experience level of your victims.
