Has anyone gotten -10 sec status and then got back to 10 sec status?

+5 is the highest you can go, and I'm sure -10 to +5 isn't a rare occurance.

0 -> -9 is a ton easier then 0-> 4.5
the last bits of sec status are the hardest to get

That is not entirely true. Once you hit 5.0, sec increase is just ridiculously slow. In the far reaches of the agent running depths there are people with 5.2, 5.3. Also some dedicated npc'ers in the major alliances.

Definitely I am sure. It is a matter of choice rather than time. I have fixed my sec from -10 to -1.9 five times. Its just that most people that have been -10 only run agent missions or npc when they have too, and usually end up back at -10 for some reason or another eventually anyway. Basically, they never bother going past the bare minimum to go into high sec because its a waste of time.

I believe the people with stoopidly high sec's are just the folk from way back (when you could get to +10) that have never done any acts of aggression since

I've seen a few +10 guys, but their standing obviously dates back to "the old days", where the sec statuc spanned from -10 to +10.
I've only gone from -10 to -1,8 a few times

it cant.
in the old days when you could easily go to +10 the game halfed everyones sec status to reset. old +10 went to +5 and would have had to rebuild from there. i went from 9 to 4.5 :/

Its neither a bug nor old people.
Once you hit 5.0 you stop gaining ANY sec what so ever from regular npc's. But you keep gaining from Commanders and Officers, so needless to say it takes 'a bit' of time.
I also recall that you keep gaining sec from 'named' non-commander npc's in missions, but i'm not 100% sure.
Highest recenlty and active player I have seen is one with 8.0, he has it because he does nothing but missions.

Yep, I regularly get an evil streak then dck into -10. than rat for a couple weeks and go back to -1.8.

Complex's use to let you get from -10 to 0 in a few days, but thats been nerfed

they were going to implement concord agents to let u get +5 afai remember, but never seemed to happen. whats the point of having sec status above-1.9 anyways? unless u want to go on a podding spree in empire
