Firstly I must say this: For those corps currently in the Blackhand Alliance Naginata is a corp that can be relied upon and can be trusted by your corp. I will also say that Naginata is still a good corp to be a member of and I also do not wish to stop anyone joining. This is just an informative post for other corps.
Recently MF joined a system close to (nxt door) Naginata corp. I was sent to investigate. MF have low security ratings (some -10.0) and can easily be considered as pirates. Which is fair enough. When joining this system we were approached by another pirate corp asking for a NAP. We always believe its good to have some friends in the area, even if they aren't the best at what they do.
Naginata also apparoaced us (after they had killed one of our guys) and asked for an alliance. Why? we asked. They basically were looking for frigate corps to help attack the CFS and Fountain allaince in the short future. We agreed to this alliance, although a bit wary, we decided to join hands.
However after joining the following inside infomation was found:
--- 2003.10.01 18:48:00 All,
*** is a nice distraction and we prob all know that Mercenary Frigates (MF) is their ally. This evening Miso went in Convo with a big chief of MF and after some talk they decided that it was to both corps benefit NOT fire at each other. As of know, Mercenary Frigates is NOT to be fired upon. They are NOT our allies in any way though. This will **** off *** plans as they have nobody to rely on now. On other words, we have won a political war on ***. Shoot *** as you see fit, but don't focus on that please.
The time come when we don't have any use for MF anymore, and then we will hang them in our little Boutique, untill then, stand down.
Ghenghiz Security Officer ---
Well you can make what you want of this, however I must warn those corps that have recently joined hands with Naginata to be wary of them. As stated, they may turn on you when you are no longer required. Now, don't get me wrong, I know we are a pirate corp, and that this may be the reason for turning on us, so i'm not going to say that they will deffeintly attack you, just be wary (especially the two other frigate corps currently joined up with Naginata to fight the FA/CFS).
Thankyou for your time. Peace and love x
Oh and Miso, guess who vyrus's alt is And no hard feeling eh?

I know all about vyrus my dear
You need to be more subtle when logging in and out - the excuse of "just skill training" and logging when key people log in, is very suspicious
BTW, nicely edited - Word is a wonderful tool -------------------------------------------- Dead

Well I thought you might know Miso, but alas it doesnt really matter now. And I'll say again, your corp has great potential. And I would still recommend any1 looking for some fun PvP action to join (who don't want to use just frigates.. *cough* MF)

This sort of thing is cool!
I would also say that your question is rhetorical, as no corp in Eve is trustworthy, which is why this game is so damn good.

Ok then the co-operative . And yes your right no corp can be fully trusted, but whats the harm in naming one I know can't be trusted (by fellow pirate corps at least).

i don't know that you've proved anything to anyone accept that we're both capable of betrayal. which we both knew anyway. Most of Eve knows that Naginata will kill anyones BS regardless of corp, nothing has been said that I haven't already stated in other posts.
BTW BAD, inc are very appropriately named! -------------------------------------------- Dead

I'm just trying to warn other corps who agree to join hands with you to be wary. And thats fine to kill any BS you find, and i totally 100% support you on that. However that corp who helps you kill those BS's may also be in danger.
Its just a friendly warning.

Am I the only one here finding what you say ironic (and slightly hypocritical and arrogant)?
Since when has a self styled pirate corp cared about looking out for other corps? This must be personal then? I don't understand what you're trying to say, as you're contradicting yourself too much. Which stool do you want to sit on? Pick one and stick to it!
Good luck with your corp S0cks and take care

Why is it that I hear the deliverance banjo song whenever I read on of S0cks's posts?
Good job on the classic infiltration though...If anything you made sure that the forumn readers know that we regard the Mercenary Frigates as enemies. Can John Q Public really blame us for that?

right... i don't quite see what you are getting at, we are like you - but considered pirates as we hunt reguarly in low sec space rather then 0.0 as we find it easier to pick a fight. i guess its up to joe public to decide for themselves how they feel.
i was hoping you'd not get hostile and keep this civil, but i guess you couldn't.
i still respect you and your corp and i understand they you may be a bit heated up atm. no hard feelings.

Yer i'm a sensitive person I guess... lol. Well i'm not when i'm shootin some1 and they are begging to be set free
I just didn't want this to turn into a heated wish wash post. With insults left and right, and with obvious lies and acusations. Just wanted to keep it civil, hence the sensitive and generally friendly appearance.
Btw, i also want to clarify that none of your other corp mates were involved. Just vyrus.

hey you chaps! the weekend is almost here... r u excited?
everyone vs. everyone (with mercenary friagtes most definitely included) in a friggy fight would be pretty coo weekend activity.
IM humble O
1 mil entrance fee. prize simply goes to teh last frigate standing. miso holds the dough (you can trust her - and even if you dont belive me... its only a mil :).
simple. everyone pay, 1 2 3 warp to a roid and beat the crap out of each other. what could be more fun than that?

A frigate fest....I like it. Not sure about 1 mil (we are on a budget) but as for the rest....
Miso - well my personal opinion even during the discussions was that it was more of coup against BAD. Miso - in that, well in that congrats it was a good plan, almost worked but definitely outside the box thinking.
Though to be fair Genghis seemed the more dastardly.

Edited by: iconoclast on 03/10/2003 04:51:46 hunting convoys for an hour or two and sell the loot is alwasy good for an extra mil or more. jump from station to station and smack them down as fast as you can and use a alt in an indy to grab the loot afterwards.
it will be fun... plus we have been wanting to see how bad lag is on the weekend in very large engagements, eh? it might be more fun to specifically specify no drones (hah) or missiles too. but more experienced players might have better ideas than me on the best setup for such a tournament.

So would a donation of 50 xeon processors and a few terra of RAM so that the cluster could handle it.

Going back to the original post - it looks like a demonstration that there's a world of difference between a non-agression treaty and a formal alliance. And it would do any corp well to be sure which they are signing up for.
And, wouldn't MF have been better placed to have kept this information to yourselves, so you could plan for the eventuality of Naginata turning on you? A 'this corp is untrustworthy' type post would have carried more weight after repelling a sneak attack than it does when you've been caught spying :)

hrmm... sOcks i like you and others who post from MF, you have class. i'm sure i will continue to like MF whether i fight against you or fight alongside you. furthermore 1 month from now i'm sure everything will be completely different anyways. its only just started...
so... what i'm hearing is that if we have a frigate fight of 30-60 players we will break the universe?!
damn. that sux.
because if we managed to get 50 people to fight... one lucky winner would walk away with 50 mil. kind of like a lottery - but with killing.
everyone drain cap and warp to they own private starting spot. on 5 everyon warp to roid and kill each other. also we should pk / pods have to immediatly leave because it would continue to lighten the server load, and also make it easier to target remaining foes. the only thing i cant figure out is how to prevent people from warping late to gain an advantage. maybe we should start by just having a few trial runs without the isk reward. see how feasible it is... i dont expect to win, but i would expect to have a hell of a lot of fun in such a venture.

I think we have better things to do than hang round waiting for Nag to turn. No disrespect intended - just sounds like a waste of our time (and theirs to be frank).
