If we all knew in advanced what was to be used against us, there would be non to very little confilicts. Althought, of these two, I personally favour the Rifter as a tackler, Ive yet to use a Vigil or even see a Vigil used in comat as a tackler. Rodamus Zero. Tell Them, Zero was Here.

Thanks, yea, at the moment im focused on T1 options for a "disposable" tackling setup. But why the rifter? However, if you get shot in a Vigil your gone in .5 seconds. If you get shot in a rifter I hear its .8 seconds lol. The rifter is a little bit better of a fighter with the same tackling potential.

It used to have that bonus, pre-RMR, but in RMR, the base speed and mass were buffed, and the bonus was replaced with a 5% target painter bonus. If that is still there, it would be awesome, but I really doubt that, given my experience with it

Two years in the game and not placed in the description yet? wow...Thanks for the info...Cant argue, if its faster its a better tackler...I'm testing this one this afternoon for sure...

Apertotes	Posted - 2006.07.11 14:47:00 - [25] just dont ask for it to be on the info window. right now the vigil is the only tech 1 ship with 3 bonuses (as far as the 2 bonuses showing on the info window are really useful). so dont make much noise, or any dev might hear you and put it back on earthly terms. so yes, out of rifter and vigil, the vigil is the best tackler. it is faster and cheaper, and even though not very useful, it got a bonus to target painting, that might be useful if your friend is on a raven. itsatrappp	Posted - 2006.07.11 14:47:00 - [26] because when you are in a gate camp sitting at your bubble you set up off the gate 30km and the gate pops being able to have your target locked as you rush back to the gate helps. but most the people in this forum have no idea what 0.0 is like sadly
