I came back after the changes to drones. I'm wondering how many can I use on a domi these days.

Another Drone skill and max is ten with just skills, a mod does also help with adding more after the Tier 2 drone control skill XD Domis are nasty with 5 drones, personally witnesed that, with ten+... thats going to hurt alot XD

Great, I bought the advanced interfacing skill hoping for that. I feared it was only viable for carrier's

My apologies, The Advanced Drone Interface allows the use of the drone control mods, so only 10 drones may be used in total, assuming you have maxed the skills and have 5 mods fitted.
The drone control mod has a very high PG need, at 7500, I only think you can fit one of the mod pon a Domi, so i do think its more intened for use on Carriers. The mod itself is 60K a piece

Thats a shame. I take it though the damage output of the drones has been increased.

Only a carrier can use drone control modules. So the max for all other ships is 5.

Indeed, have just seen the mod in game, max is 5 on a Domi, but a Carrier is sure going to be happy now XD

what a surprise someone again posted about the advanced drone interfacing. yes this is just usable on cap ships due to fitting requirements so max for any ship (guardian vexor aside) is 5. The domi still rocks with 5 t2 heavies with the drone bonus's.
