I have a compaq Presario 2100 with Radeon 7500 mobility (m6). I just tried playing it and i have biig graphics errors. is there newer drivers to be found or another way to solve this problem?
Also, it might be a dx9 problem. i don't think i have 9.0b, i have the one that ships with eve and sits on a modem here so it's hard to download. could this be the problem?
The main problem is that all menues have white squares on top of them. makes it very hard to see. /Phoibos

No such luck...
I have the same card in a EVO 800c
With XP and the latest compaq drivers i get acceptable performance, some texture errors but nothing that makes the game unplayable.
Someone in these forums reckomended patching the original ATI drivers to be able to use them on a mobilitycard, so i tried that, but no difference.
My reccomendation, Win XP with the latest drivers from compaq.

i tried the catalysm 3.2 that were patched. this seems to work good. i don't see any errors anymore. the fps is not as high as the previous error ridden version though so it's not so cool to play. i have perhaps 5fps at most times. i saw there were later catalysms that were patched, so perhaps one should try these. but i also heard that 3.2 was the best driver for the game so hard to tell. anyone knows? /Andreas

I use the Omega drivers for my inpirion 8100 . and since using them had no issues with the BSOD.
Hope this helps

I'd also suggest you use the omega ones. They are better than the drivers published by the notebook manufacturers.
