I was just wondering, I know for a fact that all ships have an actual agility stat, is it possible for us to see this? it would be handy to know just how much of a bonus i get for fitting a nano or just how much of a penalty I take for using an oversized AB... things like that. Is there a way of seeing this info?

Great suggestion. Probably belongs on the suggestions forum.

I think you should either learn to read the OP or maybe learn english? Do you suppose I should post this in the suggestions forum?
How could you possibly have missed that the OP was asking a QUESTION? He is wondering IF THIS FEATURE IS IN THE GAME?
to OP: I do not know if there is a way to see this stat. I would sure like to know too

Thank you both for responding to my question, Yes, if there is no such feature then I will be sure to add it to the ideas forum, thank you. Please, there is no need for hostility ^^

There's no way to see it in-game, but some of the object explorers based on the data exports list it. An example would be Jide's obex - though it hasn't been updated in a while, I don't think agility modifier has changed at all recently.

Edited by: Celedris on 12/07/2006 14:32:35 There is nothing to tell you your agility in game, but you can calculate the agility value of a ship. Everything has an agility multiplier based on what class of ship it is. You take the mass of the ship and multiply it by this number to get a relative agility value.
There are some faction ships which are an exception to this: a vindicator has a much better agility multiplier than a normal battleship for example.
Shuttles: 1.0 All Frigates: 3.1 Destroyers: 3.5 T1 Cruisers: 0.55 All T2 Cruisers: 0.65 Barges & Exhumers: 0.446 Industrials: 1.0 Battlecruisers: 1.1 Battleships: 0.155 Capital Ships: 0.05
Take the mass of the ship and mulitply it by the number above. You then need to modify that number by your skill in evasive maneuvering, spaceship command & agility implants, as well as any nanofibers equipped. You also need to add the mass of any armor plates to the ship before you work out its agility value.
Just as an example: a Rupture with a T1 800mm plate, evasive maneuvering 5, spaceship command 5, and a 3% agility implant.
Rupture: 11.5m mass + 1.875m mass for the plate Base Agility: 13.375 x 0.55 = 7.356 agility Spaceship Cmd V: 7.356 x 0.9 = 6.620 Evasive Mnv V: 6.620 x 0.75 = 4.965 3% Implant: 4.965 x 0.97 = 4.816
So your final agility value is about 4.8. This number doesn't mean much on its own, but you can work out the agility values of other ships to compare it to. I posted the agility values for a bunch of ships a while ago, I'll see if I can dig it up.

I thought you could? If you right click on your ship and select show info, then the attribs tab and scroll down, I'm sure there is an 'agility modifier/multiplier'. Or maybe I'm going mad. _____________________________________________________

Here's a list for the agility values of different ships: the lower the agility number, the better your agility is.
I wasn't very clear on what the numbers mean in this post, but hopefully you can make sense of it.

Looks like as you said lower number=more agility. i am curius can you do a quick calc (being you are the calc master) for a stabber without the plate. my setup has a mwd, shield booster, warpjam, 3 nanofibers. the weight addition is 5,000,300 mwd weighs alot. the nano's i have are 15% agility i have 3 thanks you uber mathalete
