just wondering if i'm the only one having probs with the forums lagging badly or sometimes not even loading at all today?

At the moment I'm having trouble getting onto the EVE website, but I can jump straight to the forums if I use a direct shortcut.

i can do the same sometimes but for the last hour or two that hasnt worked even when i try various browsers  not only that but the forums are lagging badly at times as well

Yes, coupled with bad problems at the world's best provider, Level-3, in the London area, according to Pingplotter.
I would love to know what happened to 'we'll be multihomed soon'.

Yea, I was having problems earlier. It was weird because my dialup would timeout on the forums but my satellite connection worked fine (its a german ip). So it could be a load balancing or routing issue.

I was unable to get to the forums for the past few hours. In addition, I tried a number of proxies: I only found a few that worked for EVE-O across the whole globe. The majority timed out, but worked on all other sites.
Seriously, CCP, your hosting is crap. Ditch your provider, and get someone with better than 95% uptime.

Still not working properly. Timeouts and other stuff. This is going to affect my ability to maintain standard posting frequencies.

Hehe yeah. Unplugging the forum at the entry point into the hosters' backbone and all the way from that entry point to the actual EVE forum servers increases the security really good.

Where is HippoKing btw... havent seen him since he started that thread about Worlds Collide. Did a forum mod accidently delete his account?

He must be having even more problems connecting to the forum server than we did - or he commited suicide after not being able to post for 2 hours continously. 
Anyway, who wants to lend him his clone?
