Not sure if it has been mentioned before, but I was able to get my "Save Password" checkbox to work by doing 2 tweaks in the prefs.ini file.
Change "networkAdvanced" to 1
Change "savepasswords" to 1
As far as I noticed, if networkAdvanced was not 1 the save password checkbox was not there.
Anyways, just a tip to get the save password box back, which saves me a whole 2 seconds when trying to log back in after a CTD. Hopefully they wont break this.

Awesome, got my prefs.ini fixed, but don't ever bump your posts. Handy way to get them deleted.
