No one making the right desisions PVP wise, no decent fleet comanders, and a large lack of good pilots. There main weapon right now, is the blob. And for them its actually a decent tactic. Most small corps/alliences can't fight 10vs1 odds, and blobing allows ASCN to keep thier space. As of right now, ASCN keep thier space by not ****ing off alliences big enough, or close enough to come and take them down. And good for them, it shows that politics can be a means of survival in 0.0 space. But that does you no good what so ever when a fleet comes knocking on your door and wants your region. If you can't defend it, and ASCN can't as evidenced by every single fleet engagment in the last year against a competent opponent, you lose your space. ------------- Recruit me

It seems as if it's not a complete day in EVE without yet another stupid question from an alt regarding BoB vs. someone they're not engaged in a large-scale campaign with. The truth is, you're probably going to get more of whatever exactly it is you want by doing it yourself rather than by attempting to cajole someone else into doing it in such an obvious way.

Well, this is just my personal opinion and it might not work in EVE...but...Since they are very well organized and have financial support, they might recruit some commanders in near future. Since, as you said, they lack with pvP commanders....they might point their plans to fill that gap. Paying someone good amount of ISK as salary might give them good enough commanders. Why such commnders would join them? Cause of 2 reasons. One would be ISK itself as salary. But other would be more interesting and that is another EVE big chalange. We know there are many good commanders all over EVE. And there are several TOP comanders. Some of them are natural good, and some of them are good cause of pilots that are flying with them. To accept a chalange for commanding and teaching many pilots (not very organized) in to PVP...with possible success in the end, would be something that would raise commnader name above others. Well, its just morning coffee phylosophy DEAD or ALIVE we allways have some fun. DO YOU??

The logistics the "carebears" built for themselves to support their 0.0 live in any case require massive teamwork and dedication and what makes a good fleet? ... of course... teamwork and dedication and of course a good FC, wich is also something they for sure also have. I would just take ISS and the ISS navy as an example... The ISS might be filled with many people that prefer humping the veldspar instead of popping player ships, but i would also never underestimate the potential power that lies within an alliance like this. When you face a big alliance no matter wich one it is, there is never an easy fight or a 100% winning guarantee. Just the ammount of resources being blown up in a fight of BoB vs ASCN make me shiver. And taking into account how many "BoB haters" are within other alliances compared to the ammount of ASCN haters makes this a really dangerous move for BoB if they even considered going all out in a theoretical war vs ASCN. Btw i am NEVER speaking or trolling on behalf of the ISSN!
