Well I had to reactivate my account after seeing this, just so I could reply. Hats off to you Trigger. I had contemplated making a corp in memory of Andrew, but the game just isn't the same without him and I enjoyed having my long term corp history with Ramp and other early SGE members, back when we were neighbors 8) I'll try and help out in any way in memory of Rampage when I have the time to play.
For all those I haven't seen in a while, my corp mates especially, I hope all has been well.

To answer your Q nez, basically it was done so all corps that join join on an equal footing and theres no arguments like "y should i dispand my corp when u havent dispanded mine etc..."

wow.. interesting news..still.. mass/trigger.... those names have been and definately will be bound for eternity....
never change a running sys..... but this seems that SE/SA (well lost track on this development/splitting ) is comming to an end ???

SA corps mergin into a new Mega Corp...
Hmmm anyone who knows their curse history might remember something like this.
Couple things that will be a problem... who are the directors going to be?
Will there be division by old corporation within the mega corp?
Leaders of all sorts use to run their corps differently there will be some internal issues to deal with.
All those plagued Tyrell when the original CC merged into a mega corp. The whole thing came crashing down because we couldnt deal with those problems.
Time will tell how SA handles this. At the very least good things will spawn if the whole thing goes bad.
