is it up and running? if not maybe that explains this message from media player...
Windows Media Player cannot play the file because the specified protocol is not supported. If you typed a URL in the Open URL dialog box, try using a different transport protocol (for example, "http:" or "rtsp:").
its not working with winamp either  anybody got a clue?

Seriously i tried WMP without any luck, and it runs funderifically in VLC.

it works wit-+h vlc +very well, didnt work at all with the other programs despite tweaking and ultimately reinstalling them

how cool is this?!?!?!?! bravo to the people who have put so much hard work into this. i just wish it was always on to replace the trash i usually have to put up with on tv :P

In media player (MS and classic) it plays but in very low fps (sound is fine). It does not utilize the maximum speed of my connection.
In VLC it starts playing perfectly utilizing fully my connection but after 4-5 seconds first sound stops and after 1 second picture also.
These are some of the erros in the VLC log:
ffmpeg error: more than 5 seconds of late video -> dropping frame (computer too slow ?)
main warning: PTS is out of range (34424524), dropping buffer
main warning: PTS is out of range (34331694), dropping buffer
main warning: late picture skipped (32071945)
main warning: late picture skipped (32031960)
Computer is not slow (Athlon X2 3800+) but connection is a little slow (384 kbps download). Any ideas of how to see the stream, even with a few skipped frames?

The stream is 460Kbps (at least to me), so your connection is too slow :-)
