This is an announcement to all those with a supply of Hydrogen Isotopes at Jita: Stop selling them for now.
The sell price for Caldari Fuel Block is roughly 19,000 ISK at Jita https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=4051
The sell price for Caldari Fuel Block is roughly 18,700 ISK at Jita https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=4051
The sell price for Minmatar Fuel Block is roughly 17,850 ISK at Jita http://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=4246
This means Minmatar Fuel Blocks have a value of 94% and 95% compared to Caldari Fuel and Amarr fuel respectively.
The sell price for Nitrogen Isotopes is roughly 1,120 ISK at Jita https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=17888
The sell price for Helium Isotopes is roughly 1,120 ISK at Jita https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=4247
The sell price for Hydrogen Isotopes is roughly 820 ISK at Jita https://eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=17889
This means Hydrogen Isotopes have a value of 73% compared to Nitrogen Isotopes and Helium Isotopes.
In order for Hydrogen Isotopes to be of the same proportional value to the others, they would have to sell for roughly 230 ISK more (820 ISK ---> 1,050 ISK) to equate.
So why are the prices so low? Market manipulation. If we look back at the Hydrogen Isotopes page, we will notice someone with two sell orders of 17,000,000 and 11,000,000 respectively. Each day I have observed this player use these sell orders to lower the price slightly. He will generally adjust his prices by about 0.50 ISK, lowering the overall price by 1-2 ISK overall by days end. Once other players start selling for less than him he rarely will match their orders, only doing so when seeking to lower the price again.
Full credit to this player and a thumbs up from me; he's probably buying up mats and producing Minmatar Fuel Blocks for a crazy profit. Unfortunately for him, someone caught on and decided to make a thread about it.

You can take this as the official confirmation that Goonswarm is manipulating Minmatar isotope prices in preparation for the next war (Naglfar doctrine is a GO). Turn it all into fuel blocks and they won't be able to use it as jump fuel.

Quoting for truth. Minmatar carriers are complete ass as they have no racial tank nor damage bonus (they are decent at reping poses, but they are ass in an actual capital engagement). Nags have good alpha but **** dps.
Minmatar control towers do not have a silo bounus so they are never used as mining poses, and they do not have as good CPU as caldari so they are never used as reaction poses. They also do not have enough powergrid to be use as capital production poses. The only use left (and they are pretty good at it due to arty batteries being amazing) is as a deathstar. This is also why only Minmatar larges sell at all (smalls and mediums have very little market movement). |

The CSM are not EVE ambassadors. They are player representatives.
CSM members are not required to conform to any of your expectations of them. They represent their voters in any manner the CSM member deems appropriate, and only in CSM official business. Outside of official CSM business, anything goes.
The CSM badge is meaningless outside of official CSM business, and the CSM related forums. You can effectively ignore it.
The CSM badge might be compared to a "I gave blood" donor badge in real-life. Purely informative, with no behavioral requirements. |

I'm happy to see many of the main sellers holding back which resulted in the price increasing to normal levels for several days.
So our friend(s) are at it again. He/they have managed to get the price reduced from 875 to 829 in a matter of ~18 hours.
Once again I suggest keeping your isotopes off the market in Jita until the prices reach a respectable mark once again. Remember about several dozen million isotopes sell each day, far more than he/they seem capable of fielding.
I also suggest that those who fill buy orders also wait this out, as the buy orders were about 8% higher just 20 hours ago. |
