Could someone pls help me with a setup for lvl 4 missions im struggling to get it just right.

i am as cousious as you are. i have investigated the posssibility of soloing lvl4 mission in gallente BS. but so far i know, the best lvl4 solo ship s caldari raven. then some use gallente Dominix. but it is a drone ship and dones in lvl4 seem to be heavily bugged (all enemies attack you if you launch drones).
some suggest to warp to 100km in normal space and use sniper setup. after they reach you, bookmark position and warp out. then warp back at 100km again and continue sniping.
deadspace missions should be very hard to do, if it's even possible to do them.

There was a recent thread on fitting a mega for level 4s. There is some good info in there. You could also try the Ships and Modules channel.

BTW since that thread I have completed Angel Extravaganza lvl4 in a Mega.
That said it wasn't the easiest or fastest way to complete that particular mission but it is possible.

recently did in the midst of deadspace solo with my mega 
took me 7 hours straight to do all parts of it, but doable..
lost it the day after to a very weak mission due to my client freezing up on me

I solo a good chunk of em in my mega. Set yourself up a good specific tank. I prefer to use 350's and cruise missiles. And there is no just right tank for every mission. You have to know your missions and set up accordinly. If you want to discuss it add me to your addy book and convo me in game.
