I'm opening this thread for posting images i have taken from different landmarks in the world of EvE. I've to visit many yet, i'd like to know where i could find hidden places worth of taking an image. Your collaboration here would be appreciate

You REALLY should use Ctrl-Tab to make the UI disappear before you take the screenshots.

Well, what happened at these places? I know the story about the EVE gate of course, also about city of god. But the fields? Looks like there was a huge battle..

7.R55 Colonial Ruins: In the system of Isie the Lai Dai Corporation once ran the largest bio-chemical research facility in Caldari space. The facility was intended to establish Lai Dai as the main biotech company within the State. But only a few years into its operation an accident ruptured the storage tanks and the station had to be abandoned. The myriad chemical substances leaking from the storage tanks mingled in unexpected ways in the zero-g vacuum outside the station and in time formed a eerily beautiful, but highly toxic, gas cloud around the station. After the accident Lai Dai scuttled their biotech ambitions and the station remained vacant for years. Recently, Guristas pirates have started using it as an outpost.

8.Serpent's Coil: The Serpent's Coil is at once one of the most exotic and most dangerous of all space locations in the vast world of EVE. It is currently inhabited by agents of the Serpentis Corporation, which use the place as a gathering point for smugglers and raiders alike. At the heart of the Serpent's Coil lies a ruined military installation. This military base was constructed by the Gallente Federation during the Gallente-Caldari War to defend against marauding Caldari ships. fter the war the strategic importance of the base diminished and it was eventually abandoned. The ase is ringed by huge rock boulders the size of mountains. These magnificent boulders broke off a omet traversing the Vilinnon system long time ago and today they stand proud in their protection of he most audacious Serpentis base around.

Well, I just managed to get out to The Black Monolith today. took me 2 log in sessions to reach it.
Definatly one of those "Done That" moments.
If your bored, have a jaunt down there. I had 76 jumps all 0.4 and below and didnt have any trouble at all.

I really found this thread very entertaining...
Just so someone says It to You "Indiana Jones/Jaques Cousteau" types (Explorers)...
THANKYOU for taking the Incredible amount of Time and Risk involved in getting these Pictures of Places and Areas in EVE, that most of Us will never see.
The above said - I and a Group of like-minded CORP'ers will be mounting an Expeditionary Force sometime on or around Christmas Who's main function will be to explore most of the Areas and places that You've shown Us a Glimpse of in Your Pics...
The above stated - We got onto this Topic (Space Exploration that is) when the Issue of Jovians and Jove Space entered Our Discussions.
Yeah I know - We probably don't have a Snowball's chance in Hell of coming near anything Jovian but It'll finally dispel alot of Myths about the Systems next to Jovian Space, AND, If in "Kali" as It's been rumored - There is to be some sort of Interaction with the Jovians, We'd like to be there to be one of the 1st Amarrian Battle Groups to see 'em...
That said - Seeing 'em (The Jovians) may the last thing Our Fleet sees, but man, what Screen shots those will make Eh ?

I personally enjoy finding things from the EVE never fades movie.
So far I've seen.....
The broken billboard (at my corp's old HQ)
Giant spinning wheel (grav decks on gallente stations it seems)
and various other objects. I've yet to see the big spherical things with glowing cables that show up near the start of the video though. I heard about them once, but totally forgot where.

those thing when eve never fades start are drone mother hives, you can see lesser ones in 5/10 or 6/10, mostly surrounded by a giant laggy crap construction.
tip: push alt and shoot the ruin helps a lot =P

Caldari State, Gallente Federation, Minmatar Republic and Amarr Empire main planets:
The original Caldari main planet was in system Luminaire, next to Gallente Prime, but Caldari Prime was conquered by the gallenteans in the Gallente-Caldari war, and now the main Caldari planet is New Caldari Prime in New Caldari system.
Matar is the Minmatar main planet.

You might think about doing a series of polished complex shots, or a bunch of shots showing player landmarks, like images of various waypoints among the more commonly used pipelines? I dunno. |

This is a nice thread .... OP congratulations you've made a vet remember what it was like to be in awe of EvE ... thrilled to discover its secrets and eager to see more... Been a while since I felt that way 
Not to say EvE doesn't offer it anymore... just I got bogged down in 0.0 Alliances... player run corps and the joys of POS logistics...
I had forgotten I used to just love flying around in my trusted FatBoy (fatman Gal Frigate) and explore EvE.
Ever need anything in EvE, hook me up. I owe you more then you can imagine...

Can you actually salvage from the Golgothan Fields?
Would be cool if there were fields of wrecks, that you could salvage from, like asteroid belts.

I seriously doubt that. If you can though, I bet you can't get anything else than scrap metal.. Which is, well, worth scrap.

Well, now that the INFOD war is over, I am en route to two destinations - New Eden and Dead End. 'Course, we're at war with PIE, but I imagine they have their hands full with Bloodveil and Star Fraction.
