Plenty of 0.0 areas where a lone vagabond ought to do ok. Curse comes to mind. Tried Placid lately?

This statement does not properly represent 0.0. Sure, sometimes you'll run into blob, but there's also a LOT of small group combat going on with less than ten people on either side.
unless you plan on ganking npcers/miners etc. I think that his statemnt was pretty correct...

There is no reason for people to be in low sec, hence its empty except for people travelling through...or pirating. --- Eve Wiki | Eve Tribune | Eve Pirate |

check out some 5/10 drone complexes in your vagabond, you should be able to get some really nice kills/ransoms from time to time

Originally by: Ehker Gerete I said noobs in condors hugging gates, and industrials hugging gates. Other than that I see battlecruisers. Which a normal cruiser can't take on.

Perhaps you aren't getting any "fights" in low-sec is because the pvpers are in 0.0, not low sec.

First of all, I said that, not the OP. second, I said noobs in condors hugging gates, and industrials hugging gates. Other than that I see battlecruisers. Which a normal cruiser can't take on.
Use a little logic before you accuse someone of not wanting to fight anything bigger than a frig.
You can easily (and I mean easily) take on a NPCing BC in a cruiser.

Well ratting in low-sec is pretty much useless, can make more isk almost anywhere else, so that leaves travellers and miners (plus one or two new players who dont know the above ). Travelers aint in belts and miners will either have a security force or will insta to a station until you leave the system.

The key is really reaction time, you have to hope that they're not paying attention, that you can scan and mentally process the results very quickly, and have a fast warping ship. Inties are probably the best way to find fights imo, as they cover so much ground and people would be more willing to engage them rather than HACs.

Yes, dont try to pirate in a HAC. If people see you arriving in such a ship they most likely run - for a good reason.
But when you give them the feeling they might be able to win this fight they will stay and fight you back. And because you're a good pirate you will know what you have to do, right?

Oh and you CAN beat an npc'ing BC with no problem in a well fitted cruiser.
