Maybe add something to the log in or character selection screen like those forms you fill out on the internet designed to prevent auto-filling. Some of these macros, I've heard, have the ability to relogin if the connection is severed. How about adding that little box with 5-7 letters and numbers that are written all wobbly and stuff, and you type in what you read, where as a computer couldn't guess it since it would be in some kind of picture format. I think that could help to eliminate some of the macros :)

No good, Gabriel, sorry. The humans could just log in, then start macroing. -----------------------------------------------------------

They're FARMERS. There's a Human watching the accounts. Sigh.

I am almost to the point that if I see a mining barge solo jetcan mining in a belt, belonging to an newbie corp for 6 months, with a formulaic name, I'll just take their minerals no questions asked. Almost. The mineral prices in Empire space have gotten ridiculously low in some regions.
Want a solution to macro mining? Have war-deccable NPC corps. If you've been playing EVE for 3 or 4 or 6 months, you should have enough of a handle on how the game works to be able to defend yourself (provided you're a real player). Thus, after some amount of time, you automatically get kicked from your newbie corp to a war-deccable NPC corp. This would allow the players to address the issue directly, rather than having to wait on the capricious and opaque petition process (which I have yet to see actually be effective).

...Then maybe, just maybe, the people you petitioned were not macro miners. Oh, and the price trends in minerals are nothing unusual at all as far as I can see.

Maya, are you arguing that there are no macro miners? Are you arguing that the petition system is an adequate solution to macro mining? Are you arguing that macro miners (I realize that they're farmers, with actual people monitoring the many accounts, and handling such simple things as conversations) are not a detriment to the game?
Or are you just arguing?
I'm in favor of a three-month limit of newbie corp membership and war-deccable NPC corps. You can't declare war on the State War Academy (ironically), but Caldari Provisions is fair game for grief-meisters and vigilantes.

no dude she is simply saying that this is a great idea to help sort out a few of the macro-miners who are in NPC corps, but she doesnt want it to happen cuase it would lower here profits off of here macro mining accounts,
she also seams to be implying that everyone macro mines,
