I urge everyone that does not like macros miners to list the systems in which you discover these macros miners in. IMHO These macros are messing up eve in a bad way. Below is a sound tactic to use aginst macros.
1. obtain a cruiser with a sizable drone bay. I use the vigilant.
2. train for logistical support drones. (large or medium armor / shield repair types)
I carry 4 armor repair drones. and 3 attack and have them in separate sub categories so I can launch which ever type I want. BTW For those that dont know how to do this, just right click on the drone in the bay on the overview and you will see the option to do that.
3. fit the cruiser anyway you wish BUT leave room for an improoved cloak. reason will be explaind below.
Now that you have set up your favortie cruiser, now is the time to try it out. Seek out the location of confirmed macro miners preferably in a 06 system or less as the npc rats are stronger there. 07 and highr take too long and often never works.
Once you are in the system, cloak your ship and wait patiently for the NPC's to show up. Once they do arrive, give them time to target the macro miners. Decloak and target the npc's and launch your log drones and send them to the npc's to defend them while they are killing the macros. once they have destroyed them then re-call your log drones and using either your ships weapons sys or your attack drones, kill the npc's and collect the loot from the macros along with any ore they have. The Macros can not attack your drones because concord will pod them. since you are helping the NPCs concord will NOT come after you as you are not the one attacking the macros, the npc's are. All you are doing is temporarily allieing your self with the npc pirates. This plan beats the hell out of suicide kesstrels.

It should be CCP's job to police macroers - not the playerbases.
If CCP wanted legitimate players to do their work for them they would have at least removed a macroers ability to hide in the sanctuary of NPC corps, or stopped threatening to ban those who attack macroers with disposable alts.
CCP are winning the war on macroers because they said they banned over 1000 last month, so keep sending in those petitions

CCP kills off more macro/isk farmers per playerbase than any other company i've seen. They do their work, it just takes time.
Till then, just use your Mammoth/Itty V/Badger II/Bestower to steal their ore and be happy. Better things to do than hunt macros, as I see them come to me all the time

Yeah ... CCP do the best they are physically able to do. I would make a guess that a lot of the time they don't shut down macro ops because they are looking for the main accounts that they attatch too.
Its much like policing drug crime. Rumbling the guy on the corner who sells dope gets rid of that problem for about 12 hours till someone else shows up to do the leg work. You got to hit the organisations higher up, stopping the whole shabang.
Edit: By the way the one chacter i have petitioned for macro involvment got banned within a few hours. Who says they aren't working ?
