Well I know that Amarr agents will give you Charisma implants. I also know that Caldari hands out Memory, Gallente rewards with Intelligence, and Minmatar definitely drops Willpower. But who are you suppose to get the Perception implants from?
The only place I know where to get Perception is off the market. And then only from the few players that had the opportunity to exploit the level3 agents before CCP fixed them or whatever that was.
So.. Lets pretend that all the lucky exploiters or whatever (i'm not sure if you could call it exploiting, but I read that somewhere), lets pretend they have all sold out of Perception. And the last guy with a Perception implant in his head has died. Where do we get more?
I was thinking maybe the Jove was the 5th race that holds Perception.. But no one can work for Jovian agents afaik.. Dunno much though.
So what's the story? Anyone know where to get them? CCP? Do you guys know where they are?

Seriously, agents only give out one specific implant per race?
I'm not buying that...

Haha. You don't have to buy it pal, that's just how it works. Go read Zrakor's multiple posts in the Missions forum.
That said, nobody's getting Perception implants at the moment. Unless the guy above is not lying about Jove Empire, but I am guessing he is.

I have a Genolution lvl 3 agent that has dropped 2 perception implants since the change in frequency of implants being rewards. I actually just got one today. In order to get a Genolution agent you need to have a positive 2.0 standing with the Jove Empire. Its a shame that you jump to conclusions to quickly Veruna without considering there may be other factors or situations you have not heard of or discovered on your own...

Amarr: Charisma (They need it, with those ugly mugs.. )
Gallente: Intelligence (They're all dumb as posts)
Caldar: Memory (Dopefiends)
Minmater: Willpower (Anger Management)
Each agent has a change drop one of the above OR a Perception implant.

Yup.
Perception implants are completely random across all races.
Considering the random dropping of their favoured implants, you're not likely to see them in a rush

Perception is randomly drop by all races now. heh
So basically i'm back to square one.. Who's right? Who's wrong? Should I bother with a Jove owned corp, or should I just stick with Minmater because they randomly drop from all races.. I dunno. |

I wasn't jumping to conclusions, I was making an educated guess based on reports from plenty of other people doing missions for Jovian agents who were not receiving implant drops.
Combine that with the number of people who will lie on these forums just to get a rise out of people, and you see why I am hesitant to believe things without confirmation from more than one person.
It looks as if they have added Perception implants on the fly to randomly drop from multiple factions. This certainly was not the case in the first few days after the faction patch, and was probably added shortly afterword in response to the realization by players that Perception had been left out.

Still haven't heard any facts regarding Perception implants.. Battleships are cheaper than Perception implants on the market. I don't think that's right.
Anyone heard anything?
Maybe in the next patch it will be fixed?
Dunno.. I would like to hear some facts.. I do not want to just hear from the people that think it's working fairly right now, with them selling for 70 million on the market.
If someone knows for a fact that CCP intended to make them this rare. I would like to have that info. Thanks.. |

I got mine from a Minmatar Mining Agent , as I did my Willpower
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

Every agent faction drops either their own type (eg charisma for Amarr) or a perception one.

How do I get myself a Jove faction agent? My faction rating is above 2.00 with the Jove empire. Any specific place where I should dock?
Some help would be greatly appreciated.

There's some Jove owned corps you can look up.. Try searching for X-sense or Genolution.
But don't waste your time.. I know someone that did 148 lvl3 missions for Genolution. And he got zero implants. |
