It is with great pleasure that I announce the public release of my first EVE video, Tour Of Duty. The video spans three regions of the EVE galaxy, including a Carrier class Capital ship kill. F.R.E.E. Explorer is the main star, with appearances by E X O D U S and Port Royal Independent Kontractors.

You need to work on the compression. 305mb for a 8min halfsize is unacceptable imo.

Its a high quality vid with a 2 pass xvid. There is not much compression options available in a 2-pass but I will see what I can do.

just curious what would be 'acceptable' and still be 'high quality' with 'no artifacts'.
Perhaps I can use a different codec or something.

Windows Media 8 works great, 9 is hardly noticeably better and a little bit bigger than WM8 encoded files.
Personally I don't care about the files sizes, but at 640x512 that's half-screen frapsing so the video isn't going to be crystal clear anyway so you can cut back on the bitrate a bit if that's what's driving the file size so large.

Ok, the compression was screwed up. What about the video? I thought it was pretty good. Nothing jaw dropping, but give the man some feedback. MK and all of FREEE want to put out good vids.
